Hi my name is Tyler I am currently studying certificate III in early childhood education at MCIE. I had some experience with babysitting in the past for family friends. Throughout my learning I will gain more confidence and experience. I love to babysit as it’s a way that I can help the children from not stressing about not having their parents around because I know that can be stressful. My job is to care, make sure they have fun, and most of all give them company so they’re not lonely.
I am an experienced child care worker with 30 years of involvement with children in a wide variety of settings. I am also a birth and postpartum doula and find joy and purpose in supporting families with a calm, practical and kind energy. My own children have grown and launched themselves into adult independence and so I have flexibility in my work hours and can adapt to different schedules.
I have always loved working with babies and children and I delight in supporting their growth and development.
Allow me to introduce myself - my name is Shanica, a 24-year-old professional with four years of experience working in the administrative sector. Unfortunately, due to a recent downsizing in my previous company, I find myself at a perfect juncture to transition into a role that aligns with my passion & what i love, which is working with children.
I have a background in childcare, having spent a year working in a childcare facility in Port Macquarie. Since then, I have continued to care for my two younger brothers, aged 9 and 11, as well as my 2-year-old niece - I also currently care for a family with 3 children (11,8 & 9months). These experiences have not only deepened my love for children but have also equipped me with the skills and patience needed to provide a nurturing environment. I also have 2 dogs at home, so having pets won’t be an issue!
I understand the importance of routine, especially for young children, and I am more than willing to adapt to their evolving needs as they grow. My commitment to maintaining a safe and loving environment will align perfectly with your family's values.
In addition caring for your children, I am more than happy to assist with household duties such as washing, folding, meal preparation, and general cleaning, as needed. I am organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
If i was a mum what would i like to see in a nanny?
I would love to have a nanny who embodies qualities such as genuineness, care, responsibility, creativity, enthusiasm, love, and a high level of patience. I believe that an exceptional nanny should possess the ability to adapt to various situations encountered with young children, whether it involves managing emotions or facilitating their developmental milestones. Moreover, a great nanny should be well-informed about the family dynamics and the specific preferences and dislikes of the child.
