Hi there, I have just finished studying my certificate 3 and hope to possibly continue on with my diploma or bachelor part time this year. I have loved the study and the placements and adored the babies I was working with. I have just completed my 3 - 5 year old placement and had a bunch of fun with the kinder group. I also have been working in OHSC for the last year which I really enjoyed. This work was with 5+ years (primary). As much as I loved working in a group setting I find it much more fulfilling providing support and guidance one on one (or few basis) and concentrating on developmental goals and milestones. I love watching children learn and grow and feel I have the skills to challenge and support their needs as they progress.

I am a reliable and nurturing child care worker with hands-on experience caring for children in both casual and full-time settings. I have twice taken on the role of sole carer for three children aged 8 to 12 over separate 4-week periods, managing daily routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, meals, activities, and all round support. I have also travelled overseas with this family for 3+ weeks. My calm approach, strong communication skills, and ability to create a safe and engaging environment make me a trusted and capable caregiver.
