Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Megan, I’m 31. I’m a full time Registered Nurse for a private hospital in the city. Before I became a nurse, I cared for children between the ages of 6 months-10+ years. I have also been a housekeeper at a B&B, so I’m happy to do some housework too. I love interacting with kids and my priority is making sure that they are happy and safe. When I did child minding in the past, I liked to take them out to playgrounds, cafes, The Melbourne Museum, Aquarium, Melbourne Zoo, and story time at the local library. I also liked to do at home activities like cooking and craft, as well as assisting with learning e.g reading, writing, spelling etc. Although I work full time, it’s only 3-4 days a week so I have some spare availability. Unfortunately my job is shift work, so I cannot commit to specific days at the moment. I have my own car, so happy to drive to where I need to be. I look forward to hearing from you!

I am a nursing student who is affectionate, caring and empathetic. As I was the eldest daughter of my joint family, taking care of others comes naturally to come. I grew up taking care of younger siblings, so working around children makes me feel like home. Working as a nanny made me organised, a great planner and communicator. When I was in school, loved to participate in art and recreation activities and have studied children's health as one my electives in nursing. My mother was a teacher, teaching and learning was something I got from her and really enthusiastic about it as well.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Olivia :) I have been travelling Europe for the past 7 months and got back on the 12th of February and I am now seeking some more employment involving working with children. I have over 4 years of nanny experience. Doing gigs ranging from short to long term help and casual covers Previously to my travels I looked after a gorgeous boy for a year who turned 2 while I was looking after him. I really enjoyed this and had a lovely bond but unfortunately his family moved to Perth. The hours were 8-6pm and I am looking for something similar. Prior to that I nannied casually for a 2 and a half year old boy who I took to the pools often due to my experience with swim teaching (this job was for a few months). Another family of two girls; a 6 month year old and 4 year old who needed my help for 3 months while their old helper was away. A german family who I’ve a good relationship with and nannied for them on two different occasions (a few months stint each time) who stay in Melbourne for a bit to visit family. (They were 6 months and 2 years old the first time and 2 and a half and 4 the following) Before some travels I did in 2022, I looked after a young girl around one years old for 6 months which was also long houred days of 8-5pm. Those two gigs were under an angency called The Reinforcement nannying agency. Which no longer runs. I have been a children's swimming teacher for Elite Swimming where I dealt with a wide range of ages typically (2-13 years old) in group and private situations. Prior to starting nannying 4 years ago i did casual baby sitting for 6+ years for local families where I first gained experience with kids varying ages. I am the second oldest out of four girls and therefore I am very family orientated and have grown up in a household surrounded by other kids which has taught me a lot of valuable skills such as communication and patience. I am currently taking a break from uni, however i was studying a bachelor of science at Monash. I am a very caring, energetic, friendly person who is a reliable, confident, and flexible worker. I believe I have a nurturing nature and genuinely love being around and caring for kids. I love planning activities, playing outside, reading etc. I love being able to watch a child I look after flourish and development into their own unique character. I also am more than happy to help out with cleaning up around the house, preparing meals, bathing etc. A bit about me: I love playing sports (netball and football), being in nature, cooking, listening to music, leading an active lifestyle as well as partaking in spontaneous activities with my friends and always trying and learning new things! I am more than happy to give anymore information required by potential employers and provide parent references. I recently refreshed my first aid, I have a car and have a WWCC. Rates wise: When looking after two children I have typically recieved an additional $5 per hour.
