Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello my name is Karen & I am a mother with 4 children aged 24, 22, 19 & 15. I have always been very maternal and adore babies and children and consider myself to be a very compassionate and caring person.. Knowing the pressures of juggling life it gives me great satisfaction in helping families with commitments or those who just simply need some time out. I have 10+ years experience in babysitting and nannying and experience with families with professional careers who lead very busy lifestyles therefore I am always flexible and accommodating with my starting and finishing times at last minute. As well as having experience with children of all ages I have worked in administration in a private girl’s College for 9 years and most recently worked as a ward clerk at a hospital on the maternity ward so I have an abundance of experience from newborns to older children. I am a reliable and dependable person and I am always willing to rearrange my schedule whenever possible to help you out. Being a caring and devoted mother myself I understand the anxieties parents can have leaving their child so I please contact me to have a chat to arrange to meet. I hold a Victorian driver’s licence, CPR & First Aid certificate, triple COVID vaccination certificate as well as a working with children’s check. I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi! My name is Elise, and I'm currently studying nutrition and dietetics at university. I have always loved kids - I think they're so positive, wise and fun, as well as adorable! Ever since I was younger, I've always been told that I'm great with kids, and I've always been really interested in being a nanny or babysitter. Whilst I don't have any professional experience, I often babysit for families on my street, family friends and family members - which I always really enjoy doing! I love how insightful and curious children are, and playing with them, and seeing them happy always makes me smile. Being still relatively young myself, I feel as though I will be able to connect well with children, and get along with them both as a care-giver / supervisor, but also as a friend / older-sister or cousin figure. A lot of my younger cousins are getting to the age where they're too big now to want to play, so I'm really excited to get the chance to be able to look after new kids! Thank you for the consideration!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello there! I'm currently seeking a part-time or casual nanny position after the family I’ve been working with moved out of town. I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, and I’ve formed long-term, trusting relationships with families I’ve worked with. I also frequently step in as auntie for close friends and family, and have a step-daughter of my own. I also work as a kids’ party, workshop and play space facilitator, fuelling my passion for supporting self-expression, learning, empowerment and play. Prior studies in yoga and eastern philosophies, and my current focus on counselling and psychology, along with personal experience navigating mental health and neurodiversity, have contributed greatly to my ability to understand and attune to and communicate well with children, and I have a high capacity for providing emotional support. My priority is to foster a mutually safe, trusting relationship with children and their families, and to nurture emotional regulation and connection, ensuring children feel seen, heard, and respected, I bring a playful and creative spirit, with a love for exploration, adventures and cozy moments at home. I enjoy cooking, baking, making music, arts and crafts, and exploring nature, museums, playgrounds, libraries, galleries parks and all urban and nature adventuring in general. I am happy to take the lead with planning activities, engaging in play and coming up with ideas that encourage joy and learning. I also love engaging with child-lead play and enjoy discovering and nurturing whatever sparks the child's interest and enthusiasm. I’m very happy to assist with daily tasks like morning and bedtime routines, school drop-offs, errands, meal prep, homework, potty training, laundry and general household upkeep. Grossed out by the head lice your kid kindly bought home from kinder? I'll happily take care of that for you too! Being invited into a child's life to nurture their wellbeing and help them to grow, learn, and enjoy their world is a privilege and a joy, and I look forward to continuing to be a positive, supportive and inspiring presence for the next little human and their family. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my profile and feel free to get in touch if we sound like a good fit :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Lilly, I’m currently a student studying a bachelor of Speech Pathology and eventually would love to work in a paediatric clinic or hospital! At age 15 and onwards I was involved in volunteering as water safety for nippers at Point Leo SLSC, where I assisted children aged 6-14 years old swimming and paddling on boards in rough conditions, helping to build their confidence and surf lifesaving skills. Throughout the holidays, I’ve looked after children aged between 3-12 years old around the neighbourhood. I have been with Peas in a Pod agency for a year now and was with a family on the Mornington Peninsula. I had a great experience with them, the kids were delightful and felt I really built a trusting and fun relationship with them both. The kids were aged 10 and 12 years old, this job consisted of me picking up from the bus stop, driving to sports/activities, getting them sorted for school the next day, playing all sorts of games, cooking dinner, completing light house duties and cleaning up dinner. During the school holidays, I would keep them entertained by going on walks, trying out new activities around the neighbourhood, as well letting them do there own thing when their playdate was over (always checking in on them of course). But unfortunately will be based in Melbourne now, so I'm looking for a new family! I am a very active person who loves the outdoors, whether that’s camping, surfing, swimming, running, or walking my border collie! In the past with other kids, I’ve also enjoyed taking them to the park, for walks, doing creative activities such as painting and drawing. And of course, playing games and outdoor activities. I also have had experience and enjoy helping out with homework, driving to school or sport, cooking dinner, reading, washing and getting kids ready for bed.

* pay negotiable $35-45 an hour depending on position * Hello Families! I'm a warm, adaptable, and highly experienced nanny with over 15 years in childcare experience, including the past 3 years as a live-in nanny in London while travelling throughout Europe. I'm now returning home to Australia in early June and looking forward to continuing my career as a Nanny and Personal Assistant. My experience spans across caring for children from 5 months to 15 years, often supporting busy households with multiple siblings. I’ve worked across many settings—babysitting, creche/nursery, swim teaching, and long-term nanny roles—and I bring a calm, capable presence to each family I work with. Alongside childcare, I’m confident in managing household tasks such as grocery planning, keeping things tidy and running smoothly, supporting homework, and coordinating errands or appointments. I also have plenty of experience with pet care and house sitting, so I’m happy to help wherever needed. I value open, honest communication and like to work in a flexible, team-oriented way that supports the whole family. I hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate, a full driver’s license, and I’ll be updating my Working With Children Check and Police Check upon arrival in Australia. If you’re looking for someone experienced, practical, and genuinely passionate about supporting children and families—I’d love to connect. Please do reach out if you would like to discuss anything further. Thanks, Kara.
