Hi all, My name is Amie, I am a professional carer with almost 7 years of experience from children of all ages. I have always loved children and have always had a natural maternal nature which led me to babysitting for friends and families for a few years before I decided how much I enjoyed caring for children and decided to make it a more permanent position. Hi! I’m Julie, I’m a Jan Juc resident. I worked as a Teachers’ Aide for many years with children who had Special Needs. Most of that employment was at Kardinia International College, during that time l worked with children in kindergarten to year 10. I have developed a wonderful rapport with children and love spending time with them (and they with me!!) In the past l ran my own, private, family daycare from my home. I had many clients. My responsibilities varied from having children dropped off to my home before school, driving them to school, picking up after school and also caring for little people during the day. Whatever the parents requirements were at the time. I also was available to care for my clients children during school holidays. I have a current WWC, am extremely capable when it comes to first aid, given, in my past employment, l was required to renew my qualifications annually. I am extremely calm and proficient in emergency situations. I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I live alone, am now retired and have plenty of spare time on my hands.
