Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I have a strong work ethic and I'm a fast learner who can work in many conditions, and roll with the punches as the day/night goes on. I am the eldest of three children so I have helped my single parent manage for many years with homework, food preparation, bathing, and other household duties. My brother has autism so I am very patient and understanding because of him. I'm a very artistic person, I paint, draw, sew, crochet, knit, and enjoy making art. I'm a photographer with an outstanding portfolio of work. I am playful, creative, trustworthy, punctual, and patient, and vow to give the child/ren in my care all of my undivided attention. My other occupations are all very child friendly and has me around and working with children constantly. My goal is to keep them happy and healthy whilst ensuring overall safety. I love kids, entertaining them and keeping them safe is a strong passion of mine. I will happily, read stories or watch movies (due to my big collection, I can bring some with me as a surprise), make little crafts projects, cook and bake, go to local parks (with parental permission), watch fashion shows, dance, and sing along to their favorite movies, play outside, build towers, attend tea-parties, dress up as fairy princesses, battle or fight monsters, all whilst making sure they are fed, safe and looked after under my care. Having a large bag of games and tricks up my sleeve I am confident I will find at least one game or activity that will please and entertain the child/ren. I can guarantee I will be able to entertain and amuse your child/ren with fun, creative and engaging activities that will be adapted and personally selected to cater to your child's wants, needs, interests in a safe environment of course. I am a quick thinker adapting quickly to changes of interests as fast as they change, doing my best to meet their expectations or make a costume of household objects if needed. I can craft balloon animals when given the chance that children use to add to their games and thoroughly enjoy having them around. I have always been good with school, so if homework is there, I will always be willing to assist and do my very best to encourage the child/ren to complete their work required. I am also happy to help out with housework including cleaning, vacuuming, washing/ironing/folding/putting away, dishes, bins, and snack/food prep when necessary. There is no need for your child/ren to leave your home as I come to you allowing them to be comfortable in a familiar place, carry on their day and, go to bed each day without disruption of routines. I truly enjoy being with children. Their brains and minds are so creative and despite how old I am, I can learn so much from them, not only do they inspire me I hope I am able to inspire them too whilst encouraging them and empowering their imaginations and creativity. Discovering each of their unique personalities, offering my talents and desire for fun and wonderful childhood memories...always mindful, with respect, that I take my responsibility to you and your child/ren very seriously. I always look forward to meeting each new family and doing my best to help in as many ways as possible. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling, and enriched environment. I am an enthusiastic and responsible person whose goal is to make this happen.

Hello! I’m looking to babysit regular hours. I work as an integration aide at a primary school and study teaching at Melbourne University. I am especially passionate about doing arts and crafts with kids! I work with learners across prep to grade 4, and have extensive experience babysitting primary school aged children, and would love to learn about working with younger kids. My favourite part about working at schools is building relationships with children, and accommodating their personal passions and interests. If you are looking for somebody on Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays, contact me and I can arrange to not work one of those days.
