My name is Gem and I am a 39 year old professional nanny, who has been working in a variety of carer and domestic support roles for the last decade, predominately caring for infants and pre-school age children. I am seeking to make connections with families seeking a reliable and experienced carer for Thursdays and/or weekend evening care. I also have daytime availability as a 'mummy-nanny' on Mondays and Fridays. My 2.5 year old daughter has been joining me (part-time) as I care for other children since she was 4 months of age. Just clarifying that I'm available all day on Thursdays without my daughter in tow! I will also have increasing availability as the year continues, and into next year. I work as a sole-trader under an ABN (take care of my own super, witholding tax etc) and come with much experience, a true passion for supporting little people and their families, lots of references, WWCC and up-to-date Child Care setting First Aid and Anaphylaxis Certs. I reside in Coburg and service the surrounding suburbs. Hello! I’m Mia, a warm and reliable nanny with over ten years of experience caring for children aged 2 to 14. As the eldest of three sisters and all my cousins, nurturing comes naturally to me. I thrive in work that feels meaningful, and nannying gives me purpose β€” helping children feel safe, supported, and seen. I love creating small moments of joy, whether it’s a quiet game at home or a gallery visit. I’m calm, consistent, and take the trust families place in me seriously. I’m currently looking for a part-time or long-term role with a family I can support wholeheartedly.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello there! A little about me: I’m a compassionate, friendly, and caring person who is responsible and patient. I have a high spirit and a passion for life, remaining optimistic at all times. I am determined and confident in my abilities. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy, and safe environment is very important to me and comes naturally. I believe in educating children about right and wrong, as well as instilling great manners, which I encourage strongly. I have worked for many families in Australia and overseas, and I have also raised my own four children, including a set of twins, who are now wonderful young adultsβ€”educated, intelligent, and well-respected individuals (though I may be biased!). Throughout my many years of experience, I have cared for over a dozen families and have also worked with children who are hard of hearing, autistic, or battling leukemia. In addition to childcare, I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking, which I truly enjoy, although it depends on the time available. I’m happy to assist with all ages of children; they are all lovely and unique in their own ways, and each presents its own delightful challenges. My previous occupations, aside from being a nanny, include laboratory assistant, fitness instructor, hospitality worker, caterer, receptionist, retail manager, administration officer, and integration aide. Although I am 58 years old, I am full of energy, fit, and healthy, and I embrace a healthy lifestyle, which keeps my outlook on life youthful! I have excellent references from previous and current employers who can verify my experience and work ethic as a nanny and educator. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your family's needs. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks, Maria 😊

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Olivia :) I have been travelling Europe for the past 7 months and got back on the 12th of February and I am now seeking some more employment involving working with children. I have over 4 years of nanny experience. Doing gigs ranging from short to long term help and casual covers Previously to my travels I looked after a gorgeous boy for a year who turned 2 while I was looking after him. I really enjoyed this and had a lovely bond but unfortunately his family moved to Perth. The hours were 8-6pm and I am looking for something similar. Prior to that I nannied casually for a 2 and a half year old boy who I took to the pools often due to my experience with swim teaching (this job was for a few months). Another family of two girls; a 6 month year old and 4 year old who needed my help for 3 months while their old helper was away. A german family who I’ve a good relationship with and nannied for them on two different occasions (a few months stint each time) who stay in Melbourne for a bit to visit family. (They were 6 months and 2 years old the first time and 2 and a half and 4 the following) Before some travels I did in 2022, I looked after a young girl around one years old for 6 months which was also long houred days of 8-5pm. Those two gigs were under an angency called The Reinforcement nannying agency. Which no longer runs. I have been a children's swimming teacher for Elite Swimming where I dealt with a wide range of ages typically (2-13 years old) in group and private situations. Prior to starting nannying 4 years ago i did casual baby sitting for 6+ years for local families where I first gained experience with kids varying ages. I am the second oldest out of four girls and therefore I am very family orientated and have grown up in a household surrounded by other kids which has taught me a lot of valuable skills such as communication and patience. I am currently taking a break from uni, however i was studying a bachelor of science at Monash. I am a very caring, energetic, friendly person who is a reliable, confident, and flexible worker. I believe I have a nurturing nature and genuinely love being around and caring for kids. I love planning activities, playing outside, reading etc. I love being able to watch a child I look after flourish and development into their own unique character. I also am more than happy to help out with cleaning up around the house, preparing meals, bathing etc. A bit about me: I love playing sports (netball and football), being in nature, cooking, listening to music, leading an active lifestyle as well as partaking in spontaneous activities with my friends and always trying and learning new things! I am more than happy to give anymore information required by potential employers and provide parent references. I recently refreshed my first aid, I have a car and have a WWCC. Rates wise: When looking after two children I have typically recieved an additional $5 per hour.

I am an excellent babysitter. In my family, all my cousins used to give their children to me whenever they were busy or had something else to attend to. And I can say with pride that I can handle babies. Regardless of their age, I treat them as if they were my child. If my job includes cooking for the babies, I will do that with so much care, and I will feed them. At the end, I can say that, dear parents, you can feel relaxed if your baby is with me.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! I currently look after a few families however my calendar has opened for a new family in 2025. I commit to long hour and long term commitment for the year with all of my families. It's important. Currently I cover ages 8 months, 12 months, 2.5 years, 4.5 years and 9 & 11 years olds. I understand the variety of changing developments in children and adapt to these needs. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my entire life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old and up until now as a professional nanny for parents who are doctors, solicitors, engineers, school teachers, marketing specialist and even a CEO. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with human development, of which I have covered extensively. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress and anxiety is about the energy from the nanny/babysitter. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age carer can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I follow routines and set boundaries, (initiated from the parents) for all children because it creates security and trust with them. I participate in both home and outdoor activities and excursions. I can drive my own car (petrol charges incur) or use any parents' cars. I cover household cleaning (light house work: all things kids mess, upkeep where possible in the laundry area, keep kitchen clean) to take the burden away from parents so they can come home to a cleaner environment than perhaps they left it. This is always discussed in detail for any family because I am not a 'house cleaner' I am a Nanny. I am extremely reliable and punctual to enable all parents to relax knowing I will always be there for them. I look forward to hearing from you. Nanny Clare
