Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Issy. I'm 19 years old and currently in my second year at Monash University. I’ve recently relocated from Middle Park to Essendon. However, I still spend a lot of time in the Port Phillip area throughout the week, so I remain open to job opportunities both locally and in surrounding suburbs. The past 4 years I have worked part-time for Bunnings which has allowed me to adopt organisational, social, and collaborative skills. I love creating a fun and safe environment where kids can collaborate, play and learn. I am an experienced babysitter with both previous and ongoing roles caring for children aged from 11 months to 12 years. In conjunction with babysitting, I’ve gained experience working with children through various childcare-related roles. I’ve run the Kids Clinic at my workplace (Bunnings), working both Children’s DIY and Bunnings Family Nights. Additionally, throughout my years in VCE, I took part in a volunteer program through my high school; tutoring young primary school children from, non-English speaking, Migrant and refugee backgrounds. In my spare time, I enjoy: Cooking/Baking Arts and Crafts Designing and Sewing Garments Listening to music Playing Board Games Getting to enjoy activities outside (especially in Summer) I am available for casual and part-time work and can be flexible with hours to fit your family's needs. I have a valid Working with Children’s Check, Police Check, Parent References and Victorian Probationary Driver's License. Thanks!!

Hello, my name is Constanza, I am from Chile and I truly enjoy working with children. I have experience caring for kids of different ages, and for me it has always been a very rewarding task, because it’s not only about being there for them, but also about providing a safe, joyful environment full of learning opportunities. I am a very active person and I really enjoy outdoor activities. I like to organize games, outings, and activities that allow children to explore, have fun, and at the same time, learn new things. I am also passionate about teaching and supporting children in their development. Whether it’s helping with schoolwork, playful activities, or everyday learning, I always seek to motivate them and adapt to their rhythm and personality. I consider myself a patient and approachable person, someone who knows how to listen and accompany children at every stage. In addition, I am a psychologist, which allows me to have a more complete perspective on child development. Thanks to my training, I can better understand children’s emotions, behaviors, and needs, supporting them not only through play and learning, but also in their social and emotional growth. My goal is always to ensure they feel safe, supported, and happy, while growing and learning in a positive and enriching environment 🫶🏻🌱🥰

Looking for: Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

⸻ I would make a great babysitter because of my professional experience in education, my calm and caring nature, and my genuine love for working with children. I’ve completed a Master of Teaching (Primary) at Victoria University and have worked as a Physical Education teacher at Albanvale Primary School, as well as an Education Support Officer at Dharrra School for Students with Disabilities and St Mary’s College for the Deaf. These roles have given me a strong foundation in child development, behaviour support, and inclusive practices. I’m confident managing routines, helping with homework, engaging children in creative play, and supporting their wellbeing. I’ve worked with children across a range of ages and abilities, including those with autism, hearing impairments, and complex learning needs, so I’m flexible and able to adapt to individual personalities. I’m reliable, responsible, and always prioritise safety and respect in any setting. I build strong, positive relationships with children and families and believe in creating a warm, supportive environment where kids feel happy, calm, and secure. If you’re looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in helping children thrive, I’d love to be considered for the role.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! I currently look after a few families however my calendar has opened for a new family in 2025. I commit to long hour and long term commitment for the year with all of my families. It's important. Currently I cover ages 8 months, 12 months, 2.5 years, 4.5 years and 9 & 11 years olds. I understand the variety of changing developments in children and adapt to these needs. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my entire life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old and up until now as a professional nanny for parents who are doctors, solicitors, engineers, school teachers, marketing specialist and even a CEO. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with human development, of which I have covered extensively. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress and anxiety is about the energy from the nanny/babysitter. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age carer can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I follow routines and set boundaries, (initiated from the parents) for all children because it creates security and trust with them. I participate in both home and outdoor activities and excursions. I can drive my own car (petrol charges incur) or use any parents' cars. I cover household cleaning (light house work: all things kids mess, upkeep where possible in the laundry area, keep kitchen clean) to take the burden away from parents so they can come home to a cleaner environment than perhaps they left it. This is always discussed in detail for any family because I am not a 'house cleaner' I am a Nanny. I am extremely reliable and punctual to enable all parents to relax knowing I will always be there for them. I look forward to hearing from you. Nanny Clare

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, I’m Zaira, a caregiver with a deep love for children As the eldest of six children, caring for others has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I naturally stepped into a role of responsibility, helping to look after my siblings, cousins, and extended family while our parents worked. Growing up in Africa, that kind of support within the family is second nature — it’s how we’re raised, and it’s something I’ve always taken pride in. After moving to Australia, that same love for caring didn’t change. I’ve looked after my neighbour’s daughter, and most memorably, a beautiful baby girl named Maya. I began caring for her when she was just three months old, and stayed with her until she turned one. She became like family to me, and being part of her early milestones, from her first smile to her first steps, was incredibly special. Working with children brings me real joy. I love watching their personalities grow, listening to their little stories, and being someone they feel safe and happy around. I’ve always been known for being patient, gentle, and reliable whether it’s keeping routines in place, helping with learning and play, or simply offering comfort when it’s needed most. Looking after children isn’t just something I do. It’s something I genuinely care about. Every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and understood, and I always aim to create that kind of space when I’m with them. I’m grateful for every opportunity to be part of a child’s life and to support families in whatever way I can.
