Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello there! I'm currently seeking a part-time or casual nanny position after the family I’ve been working with moved out of town. I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, and I’ve formed long-term, trusting relationships with families I’ve worked with. I frequently step in as auntie for close friends and family, and have a step-daughter of my own too, and I also work as a kids’ party, workshop and play space facilitator, fuelling my passion for supporting self-expression, learning, empowerment and play. In other words, I love kid's and am very experienced! Prior studies in yoga and eastern philosophies, and my current focus on counselling and psychology, along with personal experience navigating mental health and neurodiversity, have contributed greatly to my ability to understand and attune to and communicate well with children. I have a high capacity for providing emotional support, practicing non-violent communication and staying calm and regulated in stressful situations. My priority is to foster a mutually safe, trusting relationship with children and their families, and to nurture emotional regulation and connection, ensuring children feel seen, heard, and respected, as well as being a positive role-model. I bring a playful and creative spirit, with a love for exploration, adventures and cozy moments at home. I enjoy cooking, baking, making music, arts and crafts, and exploring nature, museums, playgrounds, libraries, galleries parks and all whatever adventures one could go on! I'm confident with taking the lead, planning activities, engaging in play and coming up with ideas that encourage joy and learning. I'm also a big fan of child-lead play and enjoy discovering and nurturing whatever sparks the child's interest and enthusiasm, and I find it very rewarding being a part of nurturing a child's interests and talent. I’m very happy to assist with daily tasks like morning and bedtime routines, school drop-offs, errands, meal prep, homework, laundry and general household upkeep. Grossed out by the head lice your kid kindly bought home from kinder? I'll happily take care of that for you too :P I'm very aware of the stress and chaos that can come with juggling work, home and kid's, and take joy in being able to help in whatever ways I can to help take some of the pressure off. Being invited into a child's life to nurture their wellbeing and help them to grow, learn, and enjoy their world is a privilege and a joy, and I look forward to continuing to be a positive, supportive and inspiring presence for the next little human and their family. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my profile and feel free to get in touch with any questions or to arrange a conversation if we sound like a good fit :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello to my future host family! My name is Danna and I am 25 years old. I am living in Australia with a working holiday visa, and have started my second year here. I do casual babysitting. I´d like to start off by saying I love children and animals. I am the oldest out of my three siblings and I have always cared for them. I consider myself patient, caring and attentative, and growing up as the oldest in my family, this has helped me a lot with these traits and to also set the right example for them. Outside of my family, I worked as a babysitter and English teacher for a 4-year-old boy when I was only 18 for 6 months, and received positive feedback. I have always liked taking care of children because I get along with them easily and I am very understanding. I have also worked in children's shows where I did face painting, balloon making and entertainment, and was something I really enjoyed making kids smile and enjoy themselves. Finally, I undertsand each family has their own set of values and things tailored to them so I would like to schedule a video call to set the right expectations you have of me, and so you can get to know me more and my personailty! I am available for casual babysitting between Monday to Friday 4:00pm - Late, and weekends I am available anytime. I promise to take good care of the little ones, thank you very much for reading. A big hug! Warm Regards, Danna

I am working as an early childhood educator. I also do children events on weekends (hair braiding, henna/mehandi, face painting, bubbles, balloon twisting). Before this, I have worked as an OSHC educator with YMCA. I have been working with 6 months to 12 years old children for more than 1.5 years. I have also worked as a full time nanny of 1.5 years old child. My job was taking him for nap, feeding him, taking him to the park twice a day, playing and engaging with him while parents were not around, taking care of him. I used engage with him and his sister with some activities like building blocks, reading stories, playing with balls and many more, especially when it was rainy day and we could not go out to the park.In the park, we used collect different kinds of leaves, sand and tanbarks to pretend like they are shopkeeper or seller and I am customer (who wants to buy food in exchange of money (leaves). Some cooking activities with sand and tankbark, such as baking cake, pancake and so on. Some activities like changing his nappy, cleaning and sanitizer tha milk and water bottles was also part of routine.
