Hi, I’m Tayla! I’m a warm, experienced nanny based in Chelsea, VIC, and currently studying a Diploma of Youth Work at RMIT. I work with a lovely family on Mondays (G1.5 & B4) and am looking for another nannying role outside of my studies. I recently moved back home after spending two years in London, where I worked in nanny recruitment while also babysitting on the side. Before that, I was a nanny in Melbourne for over five years, caring for children from 8 months to 16 years old. My experience spans everything from bottles and nap routines to school runs, homework help, and planning engaging activities for all ages. I have extensive experience and knowledge with children of all age groups. I am comfortable and confident with multiple children and meal prep, cleaning and basic household tasks. I have assisted both youth and adults with physical disabilities also. I have experience with neurodivergent children and have studied education support. I am currently studying my diploma of community services through Swinburne, I plan to work for places like Berry Street or other children’s foundations and companies. I have nannied for multiple families across Melbourne and have always created a great experience. I have had other jobs but I always come back to this - I love being able to support and care for children in a more direct and personal manner and in home nanny-ing has always fulfilled that for me. I find this job genuinely rewarding. My biggest achievements in nannying have been creating sleep schedules, helping with attachment issues and bonding with a young child with ASD who had previously struggled with bonding with carers.
