Ever since a young age I have been my families built-in nanny. I was often the one to baby sit my little nieces and nephews, allowing me to gain numerous skills such as multitasking, peforming well under pressure, communication, patience, empathy, and risk assessments. In addition to this, I have certificates in: HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support HLTAID011 Provide First Aid HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting As well as my RHAAN-EC Certificate and Volunteer WWCC. I am extremely new to the field and don't mind negotiating on hourly rates. Hello, My name is Brie Lakides and I am a 19 Year old Adelaide University student currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/Master of Teaching (Secondary), working casually as an OSHC educator and Student Support Officer at a Primary School. Previously I had completed one year of a Bachelor of Primary Education (Honours), Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Honours, and completed Highschool with an ATAR. At the moment between my current employment and studies I am available to nanny and babysit after 3pm on school days and all day on weekends during the school term, but during the school holidays I can become more flexible with notice. I have all current and up-to-date WWCC, RHAAN, First Aid, CPR, Foundation of Child Safety and Providing Safe Environment to Children certificates. A little bit about me is that I really love music, movies, fashion, makeup, Pilates and hiking.

I am a mother of two and gramma of four. I absolutely adore children my favourite age being newborn to around two years of age but I adore children of any age. My grandchildren range from four to thirteen and I have a great relationship with them all. I have experience in looking after children and managing a household along with managing my own. I like a clean organised environment but it has to get messy too so that the kids can play! I love to bake and teach and enjoy nothing more than sitting on the floor getting involved with imaginary play. I am on a disability pension after 25 years as a police officer and if I could find a cash job so that I can make ends meet doing something I love then my dreams would be made.

I enjoy working with children of all ages. I love watching them and helping them grow and learn about the world around them! I have worked in child care for over 15 years and have 3 children of my own. I’ve been working as a nanny for last 9 years I have diploma in children services renewing first aid and have police clearance! I am looking for part time or full time baby sitting jobs and can organise times hours to suit you am very flexible with hours. I have a car drivers licence and willing to supply car safety seats if required I really enjoy being outside so encourage children to be outside active.
