Hi there, I am a 43 yr old qualified teacher with 15 year experience working with children and young people of varying ages. I'm currently teaching high school 2 days a week and looking for something different to balance out the high pressure expectations of teaching. I My previous work has been in both primary and high school settings, community centres (teaching) as well as years of experience working in and supervising after school and school holiday programs. I am available Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and some evenings and weekends. I have experience working with babies, children and adolescents. I love looking after children and find that children warm to me easily and enjoy my company. I love playing with children and having fun with them. I also understand the importance of routine, structure and safe boundaries). I also understand that parents needing a nanny are usually pretty busy and would appreciate a bit of cleaning and organising around the house and perhaps food prep /cooking. I like to help make people's lives a bit easier and happy to help out in any way I can.
