Hi! I’m Sofie. I’m currently in my second year of Nursing, working toward becoming a paediatric nurse, a career that reflects my passion for caring and helping children. I come from a European background where family, respect, and responsibility are a big part of everyday life, and I bring those values into my work with children. I’m fully vaccinated, have my NDIS Yellow Card, First Aid & CPR, a recent Police Check, and Blue Card. I enjoy cooking simple, healthy meals and am happy to help with light housework to support busy families. Having one year of experience working with children, my experiences began and continue with a family of 4 children ages 6 months to 6 years old. These experiences helped me understand how to support children at different stages of development and how important it is to be patient, creative, and attentive to their individual needs. Even though I’m still building experience, I’m responsible, gentle, and genuinely love working with children. I understand how important it is to create a safe, warm, and fun environment — and I’m excited to support your family however I can.

I’m an experienced childcare and youth support worker with a strong background in supporting children and young people with complex behaviours, disabilities, and diverse needs. I bring over 7 years of hands-on experience in both home, school and community settings, and I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and empowering environments for the children and families I support. I have an ABN, Insurance, Blue Card, Yellow Disability Card, First Aid & CPR, Safe Food Handling. My qualifications are a Certificate 3 in Children's Services, A Certificate 4 in Community Services, a Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention and a Bachelor of Human Services. I currently work for a local before and after school care, so I'm only available evenings from 6:30pm through to 5:30am during the week. However, weekends I'm available at any time.
