Hey everyone, My name is Josie I am 28. I was born and raised on a farm until I was 12. I was then put through boarding school at Toowoomba Prep & St Margarets Anglican Girl School here in Brisbane. I have cared for children of all different ages and genders over the years. My last experience was for 6 months, looking after two gorgeous girls at the ages of 2 & 5 . The activities that we did together consisted of face painting, going to the Park, arts and craft, baking and driving them to school and kindergarten. I'm outgoing, adventurous and patient. In my spare time I enjoy cardio, cooking/ baking going to the beach and spending time with my family. I absolutely love working with children and I can't wait to be part of a new family.

I am a musician and artist working from home. I am very passionate about arts and use it as a creative outlet in my daily life. I am empathetic, hard working and a good listener. I have previous experience as an au pair to a beautiful family with 3 children aged 2, 6 & 8; as well as a family with children aged 8, 10 & 13. I also have experience working as a music/yoga teacher in childcare centers. I love being around children and connecting with them through creativity and activities. My most recent experience was from 2022-2024 for a family 2 days a week, where I would do school drop off/pick ups, travel to extracurricular activities, assist with homework, ensure that the afternoon routine is completed and spend time with them doing activities they love like drawing, painting, playing sports in the backyard and lots of board games. I am willing and capable to take care of any house work, cooking, running errands, school runs and any other jobs needed. As of right now I don't have a current first aid certificate; but I intend to obtain one asap. In my spare time I love to go to the beach, knit, skateboard, make art, playing music and being creative.

I am new to professional babysitting however I worked in a primary school for a few months and I also look after family's kids daily. I am great with kids, pets and any kind of house word you need done I am more then happy to cook. And even though I am 17 I am very aware that Working with children can be challenging, and the ability to remain calm during tantrums or unexpected situations can be difficult for some people however I know how to de-escalate any tantrum and work with the child if they have a problem, in my personal opinion the key for working with kids is patience and Composure.

I am a loving caring grandma, I have my working with children check. I have no education qualifications but make up for that with old school values, fun and enjoy guiding and teaching children.. I enjoy doing crafts and teaching them to cook.. I would consider a live in position if available or a position where I could have my caravan on-site I do have a small toy Pomeranian dog.. Im not here to make big money im here to help a family with their children as I live far from mine and my grandchildren.. if your looking for a grandma type role model, someone fun and caring reach out.. im also happy to do light cleaning and prepare meals. I do have a great reference from a family daycare in Bundaberg and i can provide personal references..i have a current working with children check and can obtain a first aid certificate. If required.
