Hi, I am Portia. I love kids and love lending a helping hand. I tutored and babysat primary school kids throughout highschool and am currently in my first year of university and would love to be able to make some extra money. I am very attentive and think i get along with children very well!

I enjoy working with all types of children. I have 4 nephews and a niece who i used to babysit regularly (not since they've become teenagers). I have extensive babysitting experience as I have been taking care of children for 20 years. I am extremely passionate about taking care of children. I have worked in childcare centres and in 2011/2012 ran my own home daycare business for 15 months. I also have a certificate III in Children's services. I have completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood in December 2018. I am looking forward to working with you.

As a current youth leader and children’s leader (primarily between the ages of 2-6yrs but also between the ages of 6-12yrs), I’ve developed strong skills in engaging kids of various ages, fostering their growth, and creating a safe, fun environment. I also have hands-on babysitting experience with a family of three children, managing routines, activities, and care with patience and reliability. I am organised, trustworthy, and passionate about providing nurturing, dependable childcare while supporting the needs of each child and their family and find importance in open communication between parents and myself.
