Before having my sons (16 & 13) I worked as a nanny for several families over 3 years. Ages of children ranged from 4months to 10 years. I have been Childminding coordinator at a gym for the past 9 years. I am married, love reading, long walks, hanging out at the beach, and watching my boys play Rugby.

I am a Second Year education student at ACU (studying Primary Education) also working casually at an OSHC and am looking for some extra work on a casual or part-time basis that works within my schedule. I have had previous babysitting experience, while I was in high school, am currently a U13's AFL coach and also have experience with lots of different kids through my OSHC job and love being around kids. Also good with pets. Given my casual employment if there is a regular basis for mornings/afternoons I am willing to commit unavailability to you. My work does allow me to work during the day, when not at uni, currently on part-time. I have social sport playing and coaching commitments however can work around them easily. I am extremely flexible within my schedule when not at training, uni or work. I have access to a car and am good with household jobs.

Hello there, I'm Keith. :-) I have a Cert III qualification in Childcare, and I have worked in Outside School Hours Care for over fifteen years, performing virtually ever task one could imagine. I have been an assistant throughout that time, but have regularly stood in for Co-ordinators if they have been on holiday, got sick, gone on holiday and then got sick, got pregnant, got fired, etc. I have also done three years in daycare, largely in Kindergarten, where I was an assistant, and performed both assistant and teacher role when we had no teacher for a period of time. I enjoy sports (particularly cricket) and playing board games, as well as music, but I can appreciate virtually any activity that a child might engage in, even if I don't understand it. I am also fine with pets, particularly dogs, a few of which I have owned over many years (currently the owner of a very nervous, formally-abused whippet). I have current First Aid training in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, including Anaphylaxis, and with current CPR. In addition, during my time in daycare, I worked with a four year old girl in Kindergarten who had Type 1 Diabetes (leading to Hypoglycemia), and am familiar with the monitoring of the condition. I am also fully vaccinated against COVID (with booster). I have a current Blue Card, as well as references from parents whose children I have worked with over a twenty-plus year period.
