As part of my qualification, I worked in a professional childcare setting where I gained valuable experience working with families from different cultural backgrounds. Among other qualifications, I hold a Certificate III in Early Childcare Education and Care. I have the Blue Card and a full driver licence. I am a warm and caring person and maintain a healthy balance between work and leisure. Therefore, I can ideally accommodate childcare 2 x per week for 3-4 hours during the day.

I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person.
