Hello there, I'm Keith. :-) I have a Cert III qualification in Childcare, and I have worked in Outside School Hours Care for over fifteen years, performing virtually ever task one could imagine. I have been an assistant throughout that time, but have regularly stood in for Co-ordinators if they have been on holiday, got sick, gone on holiday and then got sick, got pregnant, got fired, etc. I have also done three years in daycare, largely in Kindergarten, where I was an assistant, and performed both assistant and teacher role when we had no teacher for a period of time. I enjoy sports (particularly cricket) and playing board games, as well as music, but I can appreciate virtually any activity that a child might engage in, even if I don't understand it. I am also fine with pets, particularly dogs, a few of which I have owned over many years (currently the owner of a very nervous, formally-abused whippet). I have current First Aid training in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, including Anaphylaxis, and with current CPR. In addition, during my time in daycare, I worked with a four year old girl in Kindergarten who had Type 1 Diabetes (leading to Hypoglycemia), and am familiar with the monitoring of the condition. I am also fully vaccinated against COVID (with booster). I have a current Blue Card, as well as references from parents whose children I have worked with over a twenty-plus year period.

Hello, as I have 2 younger siblings i have a lot of previous knowledge on children, my father was not in the picture and being that my mother was not around too much I had to do a lot of things for my siblings, this was from the age 10 - 16, my siblings at this time were aged 3 & 4 up to ages 9 & 8. I left home when i was 16 hence why I stopped caring for them at 16. moving forward a few years when in 2019 (I was 19) I became an assistant childcare educator where I finished with my Diploma. I was an assistant in Kindergarten, Toddlers and Junior Kindy.
