Hi, I’m Sasha! I’m currently a university student based in Newcastle and I genuinely enjoy working with children. I helped care for my aunties’ and uncles’ kids over the years, supporting with cooking simple meals, bath time, homework, playtime and bedtime routines. In addition, I’ve gained further experience with children in a school setting. I’m patient, friendly and attentive, and I always aim to create a safe and positive environment where children feel comfortable and happy. I’m a warm, caring and reliable early childhood professional with 20+ years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including extensive hands-on experience with babies, newborns and infants (feeding, settling, sleep routines and early development). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working With Children Check, and up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and SIDS & Safe Sleep training. I’m also Circle of Security–trained and place a strong focus on building secure, trusting relationships and emotional connection with the children in my care. I have a full driver’s licence, my own car, I’m a non-smoker, and a big animal lover, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m also happy to help out with light housework, washing and meal prep.
