Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! I'm from Mexico and I've been in Australia for 5 years or so, I have a long history working with children. Back home I worked as a kindergarten teacher and worked in this capacity for 3 years back then, also, when I was much younger sometimes I looked after my nieces and nephews. My experience as a nanny in Melbourne: -Family in South Yarra for about 2 years with 2 girls (1yo and 3yo when I started) -Family in Armadale for 2 years, with twins (boy and girl) (2.5yo when I started) -Family with 3 kids (7yo, 6yo and 3yo) in Armadale for 5 months before they moved overseas (with this family I had a nanny role plus housekeeper role, I organised pretty much everything in their house and lives, including breakfast and dinner) -Family in Northcote, for 1 year, with 2 boys (2yo and 5yo when I started) My references are quite strong and also I've done lots of casual babysitting. I've done housekeeping and cleaning too (have references also), and I'm more that happy to get a role that involves that if necessary. I'm a confident driver and I have a full Australian licence, I drove a lot with my last 2 families. I'm a very patient, positive and affectionate person, I love dancing,, camping, reading, meditation, travelling and hiking, and I genuinely love being around kids. I also love being around animals (in case you have pets), I keep myself very active and healthy and I always try to help kids learning new thing 😊 Looking forward to hearing from you!!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi families, My name's Ren and I'm a responsible and caring nanny with 6+ years of professional childcare experience. As well as years of experience working as an educator within several national museums, where I regularly worked with children of all ages, from caring for babies in our dedicated play space to teaching year twelve students, I’ve also worked extensively as a nanny within private homes, both on a full time and casual basis, and have live-in Au Pair experience. I really enjoy thinking of ways to facilitate creative play, and enjoy learning from and spending time with kids! I have several years of experience facilitating youth holiday camps and after school tutoring programs, so am very happy to help with homework, and can also supervise music practice for beginner-intermediate players. In my previous nannying roles I have particularly enjoyed getting to know the children I have looked after, planning fun and educational activities such as museum trips and play-groups, and organising at-home activities like craft and baking. Having worked in many professional educational roles I’m very aware of the need for structure and security, and am happy to follow your child’s schedule and work around your family needs. I'm currently working on my PhD, so have a very flexible schedule but am not looking for a full time position at this time. Working With Children Check, First Aid certificate, and references available on request. I look forward to meeting you and your children soon!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm Nicole, a Californian brought to Australia by my partner who grew up in the Byron Shire. Now a permanent resident, we're making the shire our full-time home! I've been regularly babysitting since I was 12 years old (18+ years) and then experienced a combination of babysitting and part-time/full-time childcare on and off from 16 until I began working a corporate job after University. After that, I still had families I was close to and would help out whenever I could for the ongoing years. I love children and am excited at the opportunity to get back into more childcare. The best parts of my childhood did not involve screens. I try to bring that knowledge with me whenever I care for children. I love creating fun whether it be arts & crafts, harnessing imagination, adventuring in nature, cooking and baking, sports .... and movie nights are special in their own way when it's not every night! I am very well-read and truly love learning. I cook mostly vegetarian, healthy fresh meals and think it's wonderful when children join in. I'm a very calm-natured person. I respect the balance between structure and having fun, and would respect and follow any parenting rules or beliefs you have for your children. I am very stable and trustworthy. I would hope to create a solid bond with your children and be able to be a supportive role in their lives! I am looking to find something that allows me to finally align my schedule with my partner. Because of this, I'm not interested in working nights or weekends regularly. An occasional weekend to allow for a date night or special request would of course be okay.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I have worked as a Nanny both here and overseas in the UK for a duration of 10 years. I seem to have a natural rapport with babies and young children, probably because I adore them. I did this up until I had my own family. The ages of the children range from birth to 12 years. Part of those experiences; I had the privilege of supporting a Mum with her twin girls from birth to 6 months. I am the mother of 2 children, Adam now 23 and Lucy 20. I currently work for a family in Pottsville with a darling 2 year old and a witty 8 year old. I have been with them 2 days per week all this year. Due to their situation changing, my hours will reduce in 2024. Previously I have worked for the Education Dept for 4 years as a classroom assistant. This was amazing experience working with these young minds with quirky personalities, encouraging them to learn and grow. Finding the balance of guiding them and prompting their own ideas and problem solving. I still enjoy the simple but important things about mothering and running a household; like simply being there, listening, validating a child's experience, playing, being creative, encouraging their creative skills and minds, right through to efficiently running a home, providing wholesome meals, including children in the cooking experience and the importance of feeding themselves well.
