Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read my description ! My name is Vera, but you could call me V! My friends would describe me as a natural born leader with a joyful attitude I was raised in a loving environment where we learned to put family first, and work together to help bring up our younger relatives such as my cousins, nieces and nephews. After all, "it takes a village to raise a child" :) My family and I regularly donate and volunteer in orphanages for children where we would create activities, help in cooking, as well as help in feeding them. During vacation, I would volunteer in my local council to teach and educate children aged 6-15 years old. I would teach basic writing and reading in English, including basic mathematics. My upbringing has helped me develop deep empathy and compassion, and they have also inspired me to become the person I am today. I believe that how you do something is how you do everything. I am currently an assistant nurse at an emergency clinic, working to complete my Bachelor in Nursing with the intention to specialise in pedia. I enjoy caring for others and with the time I have, I would like to channel my energy into caring for your family just like how I would help my own :) Most of my experience with childcare comes from personal experience. Professionally, I also work as an after school educator with multiple schools here in Sydney and have worked with multiple families that can attest to my skills. I am 19 and have grown up around young children, leading to having a strong passion for working with them. I previously worked in a childcare centre for a short period and have also had the opportunity to nanny overseas.
