My strengths as a nanny are that I am very responsible, reliable and caring person. I am passionate about furthering my time in the Nanny field so that I can continue doing what I love and broadening my experiences. A weird fact about me i am passionate about organisation and i love cleaning, if there are household needs that need to be completed you can count on me for doing it to help you out!
My name is Sienna and I am a French-Australian university student currently completing two degrees in France. I am halfway through my second year in science of education (the French equivalent of an education degree that branches out towards research, primary, secondary, tertiary, and vocational teaching) and humanities. Having the opportunity to continue online for the following semester, I have decided to return to Australia to reunite with my family after 5 years studying abroad. I'm looking to do some babysitting to finance my studies while doing what I love - spending time with kids. I am motivated, positive and energetic, I love playing outside games, reading, introducing a foreign language, and giving kids the space to talk about their day, their current interests, etc.
My name is Juliette and I’m currently studying in my final year at ANU. I am a bright, bubbly person who loves to take care of children. I have experience with kids older than 2 years old and have my First Aid certificate. I am happy to help around the house with cooking and light cleaning also. If you think I would be a good fit for your family, don’t hesitate to get in contact with me!

I have been lucky enough to have worked both as a nanny and as a part time babysitter for the past 5 years with multiple families in Melbourne, Victoria. I have always enjoyed working and looking after younger children, I believe my enthusiasm, adaptability, and fresh perspective can contribute to a successful job.
Hi lovely families,
My name is Rowena and I am 18 years old currently in my first year of university studying commerce at ANU. I currently live on campus here in Canberra however, will be moving back home to Willoughby over December and January so looking for anyone who needs a bit of help with their kids over the summer holidays. I will be moving back down to Canberra from Feb so can help out with regular babysitting/nannying for Canberra families from then. A little bit about myself… I’m very caring, fun, energetic, easy-going and reliable. I graduated year 12 from Willoughby Girls High School in 2022 and absolutely loved my time there. In my free time I love catching up with my friends, going for a swim at the beach, playing sport, and going for walks/hikes. I have always loved looking after kids and couldn’t wait until I was old enough to do so. I have lots of experience babysitting kids of all ages. I was a before school caring for 2 years for a family in my neighbourhood and have recently started working for YWCA Canberra in their after school program and primary schools around Canberra. On top of this I have been doing casual all day and night time babysitting since I was 14 years old. I am more than happy to help out around the house with cooking, cleaning, tidying and taking kids to their activites if necessary. If you’re in need for a caring and fun babysitting/ nanny send me a message and I love to get to know your family!
I am a 27-year-old Public Servant working full time in Canberra. My first job after finishing year 12 was as a professional nanny with multiple families within the ACT. I worked with children aged predominantly between 0-5 years of age (however am confident with children of all ages) and did this for about 1.5 years until I went off to try other professional avenues.
I really valued and loved my time as a nanny and have continued to love working with and spending time with family, friends and casual babysitting children. As a part of one of my nanny positions I was trusted to travel overseas to America with the family, a memory and experience I have cherished to this day. This is what has inspired me to get back into this work that I love on a part time/casual basis.
I take caring for children and vulnerable people very seriously and value making strong connections with any family that I work with.
I would love the opportunity to discuss my experience in more detail and am able to provide references from professional nanny/babysitting work if required.
Hello! My name is Harriet, I am 20 years old and currently studying at ANU in Canberra. I am originally from Sydney and have moved to Canberra for university. Hi Mums and Dads! My name is Tara and I am an ANU student looking for casual/part time babysitting work. I am an experienced babysitter with good references who has previously looked after children between the ages of 6 months to 13 years old. I am currently completing my Honours year in Psychology and have a particular interest in child and adolescent psychology. I have recently moved back from the UK where I have lived for the last year working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School. During this time I undertook courses in autism and ADHD in children. I love organizing activities for the children I babysit and make sure to bring an element of fun into every job I do. I believe I am a great childcare provider as I am energetic, creative, patient and responsible. Looking forward to hearing from you!
My name is Natarsha, I am 19years old and have recently started studying a bachelor of arts at ANU. I am looking for a casual baby sitting opportunity whilst studying. I have had my license for 2 years, with no accidents or fines and have my own car. During my gap year I worked at one of the best childcare services in Canberra (Pinocchio Early Learning Centre in Curtain), since starting uni I have cut down my hours at the childcare centre but still looking for some casual work that would suit my hours better. After spending just over a year working with kids I feel confident in my capabilities to care for kids anywhere from 6 months to 5 years old, as well as taking the time to learn with them.
I had many babysitters when I was young and understand from a child's perspective, how important it is for a child to feel safe and respected, but also for the time spent with them to be both fun and engaging. In addition to being enthusiastic, energetic, hardworking and responsible, I am both creative and fitness focussed, having been involved in dance and performance for most of my life, and academic, making me a great homework helper or just good at connecting with kids who prefer reading, board games or even chess. I am happy to provide references from both parents and my workplace.
I am a task driven person with a strong aptitude for multi-tasking. Adept in working in busy environments;I have been a responsible private nanny for a family with multiple
Tidying up after children
Doing kids laundry and changing bedsheets
Cooking for the kids
Organising playdates etc.
