I have been working with children for over thirty years, working with children ranging from new born to 14 years of age. I have first aid certificate and police check, excellent references and excellent resource and materials. I am able to offer a huge range of craft and activities for every age group. I can cook nutritional meals that are also tasty, from stir fry to roasts. I have always loved my work, it is a wonderful experience.

I am a young, kind caring girl who loves looking after young children, I also happen to love tidy places up as it brings me joy. I was previously a sports coach for childcares all over Canberra and enjoyed the feeling of making a healthy impact on kids but making sure they were still having fun. I was also a swimming teacher so i am able to keep focus and be able to create a good learning environment. Hi, I’m Sara! I’m currently a year 12 student graduating in Nov, and then commencing a bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education at UC next year. I’ve been a gymnastics coach for the last 3 years, where I am responsible for 6-10 children aged 4-12 years old. At this club, I’ve learnt how to interact and work with many different children, so would love to further develop my experience. I have volunteered at a local childcare for the last 1.5 years (during my school holidays), mostly working with children aged 5 weeks to 2 years. This has allowed me to learn further about children’s needs, and how to provide an enriching environment for them. I currently have a Working with Vulnerable People’s card, and am First Aid qualified. These accreditations are kept up to date to ensure that those I work with are safe. I am an athlete, so due to sporting commitments, I may be unavailable during some afternoons. I am FULLY UNAVAILABLE until the 18th November 2025. However, I have updated my availability for what it will be like after the 18th, and am already taking bookings for this next period. I also have many years of experience as an academic tutor, tutoring primary school and high school students. I am currently doing some further study in a teaching style qualification. I am happy to assist your children with their homework to help them get better marks at school. I have experience tutoring English, Maths, History, Study skills, French and a range of other subjects. I would also be happy to teach your children literacy and numeracy skills generally using games, and beginner French on request. I love spending time with children and enjoy arts and crafts, make believe, dancing, games and outdoor activities. I am bilingual and speak fluent French. I have a National Police Check that indicates I am able to work with vulnerable people (including children), and I have been security vetted by the Commonwealth Government, as I am a former public servant.
