I’m looking for a casual babysitting job while I save for Christmas and a car. I’m reliable, easy to get along with, and always happy to help out when needed.

I believe my background and experience make me a strong and reliable caregiver for your child(ren). I approach childcare with compassion, responsibility, and a focus on creating a safe and supportive environment. I hold an Honours Degree in Psychology, which has given me a strong understanding of children’s emotional and developmental needs. This helps me create a nurturing space where kids feel comfortable, supported, and able to grow. In my role as a Resident Assistant, I lived and worked in student housing, where I ensured residents’ safety and wellbeing, communicated between students and staff, and handled challenges calmly and effectively. This experience strengthened my ability to lead with empathy and manage responsibilities with care. I’m a proactive and dependable person who communicates clearly and kindly. I value building trust and strong relationships with both children and parents. I also have a passion for education and am happy to help with most school subjects (except math). I enjoy making learning fun and encouraging. Most importantly, I’m committed to creating a positive, engaging space where your child(ren) can thrive—giving you peace of mind while they’re in my care.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello ! I’m Georgie. I’m 28 and currently shifting my career path, and in the meantime want to reconnect with my passion for working with children. I am available most days and nights—including weekends—and can step in on short notice, whether for a one-off job or a long-term role. Happy to do housework, family admin/housekeeping duties, cooking and cleaning etc. A bit about me; I’ve always really resonated with Einstein’s famous quote, that “everybody is a genius.. but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid..” I strongly believe every child has unique strengths that deserve celebration and encouragement, and often find that my role when caring for kids is to create a nurturing space where creative play, thoughtful conversation, and hands-on activities empower each child to express themselves. Whether we’re building imaginative forts, embarking on art projects, or working through homework, my goal is to help kids build confidence and embrace their individuality in a supportive and fun environment. I place high importance on always respecting and closely following your family culture and values, as well as your personal parenting philosophies. I have my own car (and license of course!), a WWCC, currently waiting on my police check to be finalised, and am completing a first-aid course soon, so will be certified once that’s completed! Happy to answer any questions you may have, and hope to hear from you soon ! :)

I was raised in the countryside with strong home and family values. My parents are active Foster Carers, and growing up in this environment I was immersed in caring for children of different ages, backgrounds, and needs. This, along with babysitting and childcare experiences, have shaped me into a patient, and reliable caregiver who values kindness and communication. I love encouraging creativity through play, arts, music, and reading together, and I enjoy being actively involved with children rather than just supervising. I’m warm, approachable, and dependable, and I’m also comfortable with light household tasks to help keep things running smoothly.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Fabiola (Fabi). I am an Australian Citizen (I have lived in Sydney most of my life and intend to continue residing in Sydney). I have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid & CPR Certification. I am fully vaccinated against COVID 19 as well as against flu and whooping cough. I do not drive, but am very adept at travelling with babies and children on Public Transport. I have a University of Sydney Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Education) degree with a triple major: Psychology/Education/Mathematics (my favourite subject being Developmental Psychology). I have extensive experience as a nanny, babysitter and tutor: positions I have always thoroughly enjoyed. I believe that ensuring children's safety, and respecting them and listening to them is of utmost importance. I have loved and been fascinated by children ever since I can remember. Since I was 15, I have provided both paid and non-paid childcare: I have a natural aptitude for facilitating children's learning in a fun way. I love caring for babies; it is a privilege to be there when they are learning so much: the world we tend to take for granted is so brand new to them …. I delight in the "purity" of children and their behaviour. And when their behaviour is ah… beyond the pale, I take deep breaths and somehow tend to keep my cool! I am a good communicator, mature, trustworthy, honest, reliable, nurturing, compassionate, loving, patient, friendly, kind, humorous, easygoing, proactive, energetic, and creative. I care very much for nature and the environment, enjoy a healthy life style (e.g. I do not smoke) and am very affectionate with pets. I put my all into the babies, toddlers and children under my care. I positively impact their lives: being a good role model, seizing the opportunities that present themselves to further their development and education, having fun with them, and being there for them as they face life's challenges. I also provide solid support for the parents. So, if you need a nanny, babysitter, educator or tutor who a) absolutely loves interacting with babies (including newborns), toddlers and children, b) is passionate and knowledgeable about childhood development and teaching, and c) loves to feel like a part of the family, well, here I am!
