I’m a professional nanny and I’ve been looking after kids of all ages for 10 years (started when I was 19). I have undertaken different types of child care as well combination of roles such as sole charge, overnight nanny, holiday and weekend babysitting, housekeeping, personal assistant and child care I’m looking for a long term role, my longest role was 3 years. It’s important for me to form a bond with the kids I’m looking after and to be a positive influence on them. I still keep in contact with looked after over the years and I like to check in on them, it’s a lovely connection to have♥️ I am confident in looking after multiple children at the same time and keeping an eye on my surroundings, making sure the kids are safe. I looked after after three kids under the age of five at the same time! My previous role I had sole charge of a 2 year old full time and also managed her siblings ages 7, 11 and 13 I’m hands on and like to engage with the kids, do activities with them and provide a safe and fun environment I enjoy the outdoors, baking, reading and music, going for walks. Anything outdoors and active! I have a list of activities I like to do with kids of all ages and modifying the activities when necessary to suit developmental stages I have a firm and fair approach. I try to balance gentle, kind and loving with providing structure, routine and boundaries for kids. I think that balance is important to keep them grounded and teach them to be well rounded. I Believe in providing acknowledgement and validation for their feelings and experiences but also appropriate consequences when necessary and to place boundaries. I like to encourage kids to be independent, curious, get them thinking and learning, building self esteem and to instil strong values I’m a safe driver with a clean driving record. I can send you all my relevant documents including driving record. I enjoy driving even in crazy conditions of Sydney traffic! I’m confident driving big cars, I’m used to driving other peoples cars I’m organised (I’m not a fan of chaos!) and I like to plan things out like a routine for the day, including meals, sleep and activities. I enjoy cooking and like to do meal planning for the week. I study health science majoring in nutrition and exercise and like to apply what I study into my life and work I think it’s best to work with the parents as a team to make sure the kids are thriving. Open communication and keeping updated on what’s happening is important to me as well as being transparent, assertive and honest I have references who’ve known me for a long time since I’ve been working with kids for 10 years! Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a bubbly, outgoing individual looking for part time or casual work. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Australian Catholic University and aspire to become a paediatric nurse. I pride myself on my excellent communication skills and track record of role diversity. Growing up, I have always been immersed amongst children of all ages, which promoted my interest in becoming an Out of School Hours Educator (OOSH), for primary school children. During my time as an OOSH educator I've been exposed to a variety of situations which has given me the necessary skills to become easily adaptable to any situation. No matter the task I am dependable and driven. I am nurturing by nature, so being able to create a supportive and safe environment for children that encourages creativity and growth is incredibly rewarding for me and aligns with my values. Some services I can provide are school pick up and drop off, homework help, light house duties and activities (school holiday outings, etc). Ideally my main role should be care and entertainment for the kids. Please feel free to ask for my resume or contact me for any questions!

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Bríd Madden, and I’m from Ireland. I’ll be relocating to Australia end of September early October , which I’m incredibly excited about. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit over the years. I love to explore new cultures and new adventures, adapts quickly, and is always eager to embrace new experiences. I have a double honors degree in Psychology and Education from Swansea University, and I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children. Over the past few years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in childcare and youth work. I’ve worked at summer camps across Germany and the UK, where I was responsible not only for supervising and caring for children, but also for designing and leading engaging games and activities that were both fun and educational. As well as lesson planning and night supervision. These roles taught me how to balance fun with structure and gave me a solid foundation in working with young people of various ages and backgrounds. I have also volunteered with special Olympics and taught both adults and students with Down syndrome to swim and play football. Which I found very rewarding and further taught me about patience and communication. One of my most rewarding roles was working as a Welfare Manager at the Alpadia Language Camp in London. In this position, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers, managing a team of staff, coordinating daily schedules, resolving conflicts, and liaising with parents. It was a role that that thoroughly improved my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and I found it incredibly fulfilling to create a positive, nurturing environment for both staff and students. In addition to my camp experience, I’ve done a significant amount of babysitting, particularly with children with special needs, including those with Down syndrome, autism, and non-verbal communication styles. These experiences have taught me to be patient, empathetic, and attentive, and I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and joyful environment tailored to each child's unique needs. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. I absolutely love being active—whether it’s playing lacrosse, football, Gaelic football, swimming, or hiking. I’m always seeking out new experiences and adventures, and I thrive when I’m surrounded by nature and movement. Another one of my passions is cooking. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, trying out dishes from different cultures, and cooking nutritious meals for friends and family. I’d be delighted to share that joy in your home, whether it’s preparing meals for the kids or baking together as a fun afternoon activity. Overall, I’m a warm, dependable, and energetic person who genuinely enjoys caring for and connecting with children. I bring a strong work ethic, a sense of fun, and a commitment to creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to chat! Warm regards, Bríd Madden
