Hi im Anthea, im an Experienced babysitter looking to serve families by responsibly caring for their children and encouraging fun and creative activities to aid in their children's growth. Focused on fostering curiosity and building skills while adhering to the parent's preferred routines. I Bring love of learning and while focusing on childhood development, i maintaining an organized, clean and secure environment. I have 16yrs experience as a childcare educator. My role as an educator is to provide a safe, stimulating environment. One of my major roles as a childcare educator will be to develop relationships with children and parents to identify their abilities and interest. This will enable me to plan and create an environment and experiences which allow children to develop and enjoy their time at the centre. These experiences will also help develop their fine and gross motor, and coordination skills, also it will help to encourage social interaction and stimulate children's problem solving and intellectual skills. To understand that to a child play is learning, so therefore ensuring they learn through different types of play. To challenge children to take risks, be brave and master new skills. To encourage children to overcome obstacles and challenges. I feel it’s a privilege to play a role in children’s lives during those vital first five years. Being part of a child’s development and watching them learn firsthand as they grow and flourish under my care is very rewarding. Also I have developed trusting and strong relationships with not only the children but their families too.
