I love children and am a nurturing, trusted, fun, patient, committed, dedicated, good valued person with loads of experience. With previous families I have been told that I am a great support to parents & am very multi tasked. I’ve had the privilege of supporting families by providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment for children to thrive. My role has included the care for children of various ages, from newborns to early teens. I was working PT as a holistic Psychotherapist & Counsellor for adults for a couple years but my roots keep bringing me back to children. I come with 25yrs+ nanny experience & 4yrs of working for myself as a Family Day Carer with emphasis on the ELYF Framework, The Early Years Learning Framework of Belonging, Being & Becoming. I myself am a dedicated wife and mother and come from a European background. I love being a mum and only know how much on the trusting relationship you need with the carer of your child. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Alexandra and I am studying a Bachelor of Social Work. A big part of my personality is getting to know people and having a good yarn as I believe that is the best way to understand someone. I really enjoy spending time with kids as I find there is a lot of fun and fulfilment from learning about them and getting to connect with them. I am currently working as a social carer with two children with special needs, and have been enjoying developing a relationship with them and trying to implement a good routine. I have many interests and honestly - they are all over the place! I love going to the beach, even if it's just to sit with a beverage and watch the ocean. I also love the park and watching the animals and people walking along. When going out with friends or family I tend to gravitate to activities such as bowling, laser tag, the movies, or going out to eat. I'm relatively easy-going so as long as the company is good and happy then I'm happy! When at home, I enjoy (basic) knitting while watching some quality TV or movies. For TV I prefer docu-series or comedies or dramas (or a mix of all!). For movies I often pick the comedies or rom-coms, but you won't see me shying away from a scary movie if everyone in the room is in agreement. I love to paint, and though I'm no Michelangelo, I do believe it is so fun and calming, even if I'm just painting a solid colour on a canvas. I enjoy a drive around too and am not against driving to a new area for a good food spot or activity or museum to see. My current work is casual so I have a pretty flexible schedule.

Hola! I'm Maria Fernanda (Mafe) — a kind, creative, and responsible childcare provider from Colombia. I’ve been living in Australia for the past three years and speak both English and Spanish fluently. I have a background in Business, Advertising, and Marketing, and I'm passionate about helping children grow in a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment. In addition to working in customer service and floristry, I’ve been working as a nanny for the past six months — a journey that started through word-of-mouth recommendations from friends. I'm now excited to support more local families with care, creativity, and strong organization. EXPERIENCE: - Homework Tutor in Colombia: Worked with children from low-income families, offering academic support and emotional encouragement. - Volunteer at Bible School: Assisted with daily activities for young children, developing strong skills in care, patience, and teaching. - Family Caregiver: Cared for my cousin Lina from infancy to age 8, including changing nappies, tutoring, and playful learning. - Strong understanding of early childhood needs – I’ve always loved supporting young minds through learning and creativity. WHY ME? I’m an organised and creative person who truly enjoys caring for children. I love using simple routines, to-do lists, and staying on schedule, but I’m also flexible and happy to adapt to each child’s needs. I enjoy painting, going for nature walks, and telling stories — fun ways to help children learn and enjoy their day. I always bring a calm, positive, and caring energy into the home, and I’d love to support your family with kindness and dedication.

Having grown up with two younger cousins and now two much younger siblings, I’ve naturally grown up taking a “carer” role. I’ve worked as an SLSO for the past two years supporting a diverse range of kids and also do social support work on weekends. I love getting to meet new people, but kids in particular have quirks and habits that make them so fun to be around. I’d love to create the sort of connection where the kids don’t just feel like they’re being babysat but rather, hanging out. 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Sonakshi, and I am a reliable and caring babysitter. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, which gives me a strong foundation in child development, care, and safety. Alongside my studies, I have practical experience working with children of various ages as an educator and babysitter. I hold several important certifications that make me a qualified and trustworthy early childhood service provider. First and foremost, I have the HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate, which equips me with skills to handle emergencies like asthma attacks, anaphylaxis, choking, and injuries in children. This training is specifically designed for those working in childcare and ensures safety at all times. I also hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for New South Wales, which confirms that I have passed all required background checks and am legally approved to work with children in Australia. Additionally, I have completed the Child Protection Certificate, which trains me to recognize and respond to any signs of abuse or neglect, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every child. Understanding allergies is crucial when caring for children. I have completed ASCIA Anaphylaxis e-training for Children’s Education and Care, which teaches how to recognize and manage severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) effectively and calmly. This course prepares me to act immediately and correctly in case of an emergency, including the use of adrenaline auto-injectors. My qualifications also include the Supporting Physical Development in Early Childhood certificate. This focuses on helping children develop their motor skills safely and effectively through play and guided activities, which supports their overall growth and health. I have completed the Overview of Family Assistance Law and the National Law Course, an Australian Government certificate that familiarizes me with legal frameworks, policies, and ethical responsibilities in childcare settings. This knowledge helps me work in line with government regulations and best practices. Working with children with diverse needs requires specific skills, which I have gained through certificates in Child-Centered and Communication-Focused Practice with Children with Disability and Understanding Child Mental Health and Disability. These courses have trained me to communicate effectively, respect individual differences, and support children with disabilities or mental health challenges in a positive and inclusive way. Furthermore, I hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, which has enhanced my abilities in providing care and emotional support, hygiene, and safe practices—all essential in both aged care and childcare contexts. I am fluent in English and Hindi, which allows me to communicate well with families from different cultural backgrounds. I take pride in being punctual, organized, and responsible, always following instructions carefully and creating a warm, trusting atmosphere for children. My practical experience includes caring for children’s daily needs such as feeding, hygiene, play, homework assistance, and bedtime routines. I also help with light household duties related to childcare, such as meal preparation and tidying. I understand the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment. In all my work, I focus on building positive relationships with children and parents. I believe a good babysitter not only looks after children’s safety but also supports their emotional well-being, independence, and creativity through age-appropriate activities and attentive care. I am flexible with my availability and can provide care for short or long periods. Families can trust that I bring a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable approach to every babysitting role. With my combination of formal education, extensive certifications, and hands-on experience, I am confident in my ability to provide high-quality care that supports children’s growth, safety, and happiness.
