Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! My name is Jasmine and I'm an 18 year-old first year ANU student that just moved here from Sydney, I'm looking for part-time, casual or on hoc babysitting work for 1-3 children. As an extroverted carer, I have experiences of working with primary school kids from grade 1 up to 6 at the Sydney Chatswood Library and Lane Cove Public School where I took care of kids in-class and out-of-class hours by engaging in games, conversations and keeping the kids entertained on the playground. I'm available for babysitting for 2 to 10+ years old in surrounding ACT areas. I also provide housekeeping, homework help and pet-sitting on demand, and I'm also fluent in Mandarin Chinese. My availabilities are flexible where I'm commencing work from late February and early March. I hold a WWCC and is in the process of finalising my First Aid Certificate. I'm also able to provide WWVP pass and parental references if requested. Please message for more!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m a reliable babysitter with several years of experience working with children of different ages. For the past three years, I’ve coached netball, looking after multiple teams each year and regularly supervising groups of 10 to 12 kids aged between 9 and 14. This has given me lots of experience building strong relationships with children, managing groups, and creating a positive, supportive environment. I’ve also been babysitting the same family for three years, caring for a 6 year old and a 2 year old. This has involved dinner, bedtime routines, and providing calm, consistent care in the evenings. I’m very active, I row and play netball, and I love getting involved in games and activities with kids. I’m currently studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the Australian National University and am happy to help with homework. I also have a background in music, with piano to AMEB Grade 5 and flute to AMEB Grade 6, so I’m always keen to support kids in whatever they’re interested in. As I’m moving to Canberra, I’m hoping to find a family I can get to know and support long term, and I’m flexible with evenings, after school care, and regular arrangements.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I am a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic young adult who genuinely loves working with children and supporting families. I have completed Year 12 and currently work at Water Wombats, where I support children in warm-water programs that focus on confidence, emotional regulation, and comfort in the water. Many of the children I work with have disabilities or additional needs, including sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or developmental differences, which has helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs. I truly enjoy spending time with children and find it incredibly rewarding to support their growth, confidence, and independence. In my role, I help create a calm, safe, and encouraging environment, follow structured routines, and support children one-on-one so they can feel secure and successful at their own pace. I love celebrating small wins and building trusting relationships with the children I care for. Previously, I have worked as a swim teacher and assisted with teaching dance to younger children, helping them build confidence, coordination, and self-expression in a fun and supportive way. I hold a current police check and CPR certification and place a strong emphasis on safety, trust, and clear communication with families. I am responsible, approachable, and genuinely excited to care for children as if they were my own, creating a positive, nurturing environment where they feel safe, happy, and supported.

... been a live-out nanny since Jan 2025. Currently available Mondays to Thursdays whole days. Specifically this year not available: 06-10/02 & 27-28/03. Mature aged but young at heart with a variety of long term child care/nannying experience. I am currently seeking a family for part/whole days Mondays to Thursdays. The family I did care for Mar-Dec 2025 care requirements have ceased so I am available for another family from mid Feb 2026. Outside of this I am not available weekends, not usually Friday or Saturday nights, public holidays, new years & the day after new years day & 10 days mid February every year. Disinclined to do sleep overs. I have hands on experience in art & crafts, knitting, sewing, crocheting & eager to teach these or do activities on my sewing machine which I can bring to your house *highly supervised*. I can supply budget materials at cost. I grow vegetables & fruit at home and have in childcare centres. I am very active, outdoorsy & environmentally aware & active. Willing to drive/walk children to/from care/pre/school, do light housework, clean up after myself and the children's activities, do a bit of grocery shopping, am comfortable with pets & walking well behaved dog(s).
