Hi there - my name is Kate. I am Historian and a Disability Support Worker, currently looking for some additional work hours before I head off travelling for 2 months in March and April this year. I also have experience working in hospitality and in libraries. I'm comfortable working with children and adults of all abilities and am a people-person at heart. The support work I do is mostly centered around community access and social support. I'm familiar with supporting clients needs for personal care, making snacks and meals, and spending social time together - going out for activities or hanging out at home playing games. I'm an avid reader, an artist and enthusiastic about yoga and the outdoors. I'm also comfortable helping older kids with homework and study needs.

I have a lot of experience with children. I worked as an au pair in Australia and in Guadeloupe, and I’ve also done plenty of babysitting both in Australia and in France. On top of that, I grew up with a mum who is a childcare assistant, so I’ve always been around kids.
