Hi, I’m Zaira, a caregiver with a deep love for children As the eldest of six children, caring for others has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I naturally stepped into a role of responsibility, helping to look after my siblings, cousins, and extended family while our parents worked. Growing up in Africa, that kind of support within the family is second nature — it’s how we’re raised, and it’s something I’ve always taken pride in. After moving to Australia, that same love for caring didn’t change. I’ve looked after my neighbour’s daughter, and most memorably, a beautiful baby girl named Maya. I began caring for her when she was just three months old, and stayed with her until she turned one. She became like family to me, and being part of her early milestones, from her first smile to her first steps, was incredibly special. Working with children brings me real joy. I love watching their personalities grow, listening to their little stories, and being someone they feel safe and happy around. I’ve always been known for being patient, gentle, and reliable whether it’s keeping routines in place, helping with learning and play, or simply offering comfort when it’s needed most. Looking after children isn’t just something I do. It’s something I genuinely care about. Every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and understood, and I always aim to create that kind of space when I’m with them. I’m grateful for every opportunity to be part of a child’s life and to support families in whatever way I can.

Looking for: Full-time,Au Pair

Hello, My name is Anaïs, I’m 32 years old, and even if that might sound surprising for an au pair, I decided to take a chance in Australia after going back to university at 28. I’ve always wanted to travel, learn new things, and grow personally. Becoming an au pair has always been a dream, but I focused on my career first. Today, I see it as a wonderful opportunity to improve my English while taking care of children, which I truly enjoy. The people I miss the most right now are my two nephews, aged 8 and 11, who bring me so much happiness and with whom I’ve shared unforgettable moments. I’m a simple, sporty, and curious person, looking for an enriching life experience. I’ve been in Australia for 7 months, and although my English has improved a lot, I haven’t yet had the chance to be fully immersed with English-speaking people. I’d really love to keep improving my English while sharing my own culture and language. I’m organised, responsible, and creative. I love cooking, doing various activities with kids, and creating a happy, caring environment. My age might not make me the “typical” au pair, but I believe my maturity and life experience are real strengths for this role. For full transparency, I am an occasional smoker, but never around children or indoors. I’m available from the end of the month, currently living in Miners Rest (Ballarat), and I’ve been working for the past 5 months in a racehorse stable. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have (with my not-so-perfect English 😅), and I truly hope to share this wonderful adventure with your family. Looking forward to hearing from you, Anaïs

I’m a 24-year-old from Hungary who is easy-going, kind, and enjoys spending time with children and seeing the world through their eyes. I’m moving to Australia for a year on a Working Holiday visa, and becoming an Au Pair or nanny feels like the perfect way to start my journey while supporting a family. I’ve worked as a camp counsellor in the United States with children aged 6–13, cared for my younger sister and cousins, and volunteered with a non-profit organization where I organized games, crafts, and activities for kids. These experiences have taught me to be patient, responsible, and adaptable. I can’t wait to bring my positive and caring attitude to your family while exploring life in Australia! :)
