Hi, I’m Gabby! With a background in teaching, gymnastics coaching, and a passion for supporting kids of all abilities, I bring energy, creativity, and adaptability to every childcare setting. I’m currently completing my Cert III in Individual Support and hold Cert II in both Auslan and Early Childhood Education. I’ve completed placements in childcare centres, worked one-on-one and with groups, and supported neurodivergent kids. My approach is child-led, encouraging curiosity, communication, and independence through fun, engaging activities. My skills transfer easily between jobs—and I’m eager to keep learning! I’m a proud mum of three grown children and a hands-on grandma to two beautiful grandchildren aged 17 months and 4 years. I absolutely love spending time with children and have a natural, nurturing approach. I’m confident caring for all age groups, from babies to school-aged kids, and understand the importance of creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I’m also more than happy to help with cooking, tidying up, and general household tasks to make life a little easier for busy families. I am currently studying Psychology and have previously completed a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) and learnt about development biology, human physiology and pathology, nutrition, exercise and pharmacology. Having completed a Professional Certificate of Education Support from Monash University, I've also gained an understanding of individuals with neurodiverse needs and how to create an equitable environment for their prosperity. I am currently working as Admin Support at Solace Psychology clinic in Carlton North and have previously gained 5 years of corporate work experience, at the National Australia Bank (docklands). My hobbies include art, music, puzzles, yoga and meditation.
