Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hey guys, I'm Johnny - born and raised in Sydney. I work a FT corporate role professionally but would love to do some babysitting on the side (my work hours are flexible so this can be discussed further). I love supporting kids as they grow and learn, especially during their early developmental years. While my main caring background is in disability support, many of the key skills like patience, empathy, and clear communication are the same. I'm kind, reliable, and believe in working collaboratively with both children and families to create a positive environment. Happy to discuss the role in-person to make sure it's the right fit for the both of us.

Heyy my names Tom Lancaster! I’m from the UK, on a working holiday Visa and planning to stay indefinitely. Im a 23 year old male, who loves working with kids it’s my passion. I’ve been an activity instructor/group leader for just under 2 years now in the UK and Australia. Looking after up to 24 kids by myself and have enjoyed it so much! I love the way they look up to you and you literally see them gain so much confidence during the time I’m with them it’s amazing. I’m a very fun, enthusiastic, caring guy with a passion for embracing my inner child whilst looking after kids :). I find gaining there respect very easy as I treat them as a friend rather than a child, this makes it a lot easier when explaining rules they need to follow during activities and how they should behave. I’m looking to gain new skills as I’m looking at the possibility of teaching in the future and would love the opportunity to work with your family. :)) I have had three babysitting job so far so I can provide references. 1. A Jewish family with two kids ages boy aged 7 and girl aged 5 who had a background with domestic violence due to the mother abusing them and making them regress, for example making them wear diapers still. 2. A family with a 10 year old boy who has ADHD/Autism/PDA. This includes dealing with a lot of physical tantrums and panic attacks. 3. A Indian family with a 5 year old boy and 5 month year old baby.

Hi, I’m Soha — a caring, compassionate, and empathetic caregiver currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology at Macquarie University, with a strong focus on child development. With over 7 years of hands-on experience caring for children aged 0 to 15, I bring both practical knowledge and academic insight to the families I support. I’m confident working with infants, including feeding, soothing, and nappy changes, and with toddlers and older children, I love engaging in meaningful activities that promote learning, emotional growth, and positive behaviour. I can assist with light cooking, cleaning, and creating structured, nurturing environments where children feel safe and valued. Whether it’s helping with homework, building routines, sparking curiosity, or simply being a warm and encouraging presence — I strive to support your child’s development holistically. I believe early childhood is a crucial time, and having someone with a background in psychology can offer your little ones not just care, but the kind of thoughtful interaction that supports healthy growth. I would love the opportunity to bring my heart and knowledge into your home

I am a nursing student who is affectionate, caring and empathetic. As I was the eldest daughter of my joint family, taking care of others comes naturally to come. I grew up taking care of younger siblings, so working around children makes me feel like home. Working as a nanny made me organised, a great planner and communicator. When I was in school, loved to participate in art and recreation activities and have studied children's health as one my electives in nursing. My mother was a teacher, teaching and learning was something I got from her and really enthusiastic about it as well.

Hi! My name is Saschia Mutongoza. I’m a dedicated, responsible, and nurturing babysitter with many years of experience caring for children of all ages — especially infants and young children. Childcare has always been something I love and take pride in, and I aim to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment for every child I look after. Over the years, I’ve worked with a variety of families and age groups, which has given me the ability to adapt to different routines, needs, and personalities. Whether it’s helping with schoolwork, preparing meals, reading stories, or simply playing and engaging with little ones, I put genuine care into everything I do. I’m known for being punctual, trustworthy, and very careful when it comes to children’s safety and well-being. I understand how important it is to have someone you can rely on, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m also more than happy to provide references upon request — many families I’ve worked with would be glad to share their positive experiences. If you’re looking for a kind, attentive, and experienced babysitter who truly enjoys being around kids and helping families, I’d love to hear from you!

Hello dear families, My name is Vanessa, I’m 33 years old and I moved to Melbourne one year ago. I’m currently studying English, as learning a new language has always been one of my dreams. I plan to continue my studies for at least another year. I can communicate with your children in English (I’m still learning!) or in Spanish, in case you’re interested in encouraging bilingual skills. I feel confident working with both young boys and girls. I’m a calm, loving, and charismatic person. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, walking, and practicing yoga. If you have a dog, that’s definitely a big plus for me — I love animals! I currently live in Port Melbourne, but I’m happy to travel if needed. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Warm regards, Vanessa
