Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, my name is Millie, I am a recent English Literature graduate and am hoping to find a family I can support in any way they need! I have over ten years of experience in childcare, have a valid WWCC and am 'HLTAID012 Childcare First Aid and CPR training'. I would describe myself as extremely kind, caring and compassionate whilst also being highly energetic, organised and attentive. I greatly value fun, joy and laughter; I am very passionate about childcare and the children entrusted into my care, with their safety and joy being of utmost importance to me. I would regard myself as gentle with strong leadership skills; I am also highly reliable and trustworthy - my previous role as a domestic cleaner and house sitter relied on trust between the families and myself. One of my more recent roles in childcare was as a children's educator at an 'OFSTED’ rated “Excellent” kindergarten in London for children aged 0-4 years old. I enjoyed working with a variety of ages within the kindergarten setting: working with the babies was a great learning experience in so many ways and I regard myself as highly competent when it comes to looking after babies and toddlers. I had previously volunteered weekly for a creche, worked as a 'Camp Counsellor' for a summer camp in America, and again for two different camps in the UK over a period of several years, amongst many other roles in childcare but working with the babies, toddlers and young children at the kindergarten allowed me to develop in a even more professional capacity. I am now highly competent when it comes to changing a baby, toddler or child safely, managing safe mealtimes for children of all ages, safely putting a baby, toddler or child down to sleep (and constantly monitoring them whilst they slept) and monitoring babies and toddlers whilst they play, allowing them to discover their surroundings independently whilst supporting them and constantly remaining vigilant to their movements, amongst many other areas of baby care. Furthermore, it was always so wonderful to see the children progress in their confidence, and supporting the parents in any way we could was so important to me. Constant communication with the parents enabled me to understand the children in our care, helping us to adapt in any way we could do accommodate the child’s needs whilst making sure they developed socially alongside their peers. I enjoy a range of sports, and consider myself to be a very sporty person; I was described by a previous employer at my most recent job as having ‘a constant abundance of energy and joy’ and at the nursery I worked at, I loved spending time being active in the garden with the children. I am also an extremely vigilant person and always regard the safety of a child/children in my care extremely highly; I previously worked as a lifeguard, and the role enforced for me the importance of being attentive, alert, aware and cautious in the workplace. I have a great passion for reading and encouraging young children to read and enjoy literature. Nourishing creativity in young children and young people is very important to me, and previous volunteering at the local church for an event named ‘Messy Church’ and helping out with ‘Kidschurch’ at the same church weekly, meant I was constantly able to improve on my ability to imagine new ways in which children could explore their own creativity through arts and crafts. I believe that all children deserve gentleness, kindness and a high level of quality care and I believe I can provide this!

Hi there! I’m a mature, open-minded babysitter with over 20 years experience looking after children through both family and private care. My own kids are grown now, so I’ve got plenty of time and care to give. I’m really tuned in to how kids are feeling, so I can tell when they need a little space, some comfort, or just a bit of fun. MONDAYS NANNY AVAILABLE + occasionally during the week and in the evenings. Hello/Bonjour families, My name is Oceane, I am 29 years old and originally from France. After being a nanny during 1 year in Sydney for a lovely 5 month old boy and a 2yo girl, I am currently an Au Pair in Clovelly and studying a Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. My Availability as a nanny are : • Monday ALL DAY AFTER 9 AM • Tuesday and Wednesday between 9 AM and 3 PM • Thursday between 9 AM and 5 PM • Friday evening • Weekend I have been nannying regularly since I was 18 years old, always alongside my studies, which has given me many years of consistent, hands-on experience with children of different ages (specialy babies and toddlers). I was a nanny for a lovely 5 month old boy (age when I started) and a lovely 2yo girl during my first year in Sydney. I spent a year and a half in the United States as an Au Pair, where I cared for three children (5 months, 2.5 years, and 6.5 years old at the time of my arrival) for one year, and then for a 7-month-old baby in another family for six months. This experience was incredibly enriching and sparked my strong interest in child development. I then moved to New Zealand for 15 months, where I worked as a nanny for three main families, caring for children between 1 and 2 years old. One of the 2-year-olds welcomed a baby sister, giving me the opportunity to care for a newborn and support her development until she was 5 months old. I am now based in Sydney, where I continue to work as a nanny for wonderful families. I am studying Early Childhood Education and Care, as I am planning to build my long-term career in this field, ideally becoming a Play Therapist or working in education. I am caring, reliable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I make it a priority to take children outdoors every day and organize engaging activities such as playgroups, museum visits, music classes, library trips, and other fun and educational experiences suited to their age and interests. I would be happy to provide my CV and references upon request. I would love to find a family with whom I can build a strong and lasting relationship. I look forward to hearing from you. A bientôt, Océane

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Bríd Madden, and I’m from Ireland. I’ll be relocating to Australia end of September early October , which I’m incredibly excited about. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit over the years. I love to explore new cultures and new adventures, adapts quickly, and is always eager to embrace new experiences. I have a double honors degree in Psychology and Education from Swansea University, and I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children. Over the past few years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in childcare and youth work. I’ve worked at summer camps across Germany and the UK, where I was responsible not only for supervising and caring for children, but also for designing and leading engaging games and activities that were both fun and educational. As well as lesson planning and night supervision. These roles taught me how to balance fun with structure and gave me a solid foundation in working with young people of various ages and backgrounds. I have also volunteered with special Olympics and taught both adults and students with Down syndrome to swim and play football. Which I found very rewarding and further taught me about patience and communication. One of my most rewarding roles was working as a Welfare Manager at the Alpadia Language Camp in London. In this position, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers, managing a team of staff, coordinating daily schedules, resolving conflicts, and liaising with parents. It was a role that that thoroughly improved my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and I found it incredibly fulfilling to create a positive, nurturing environment for both staff and students. In addition to my camp experience, I’ve done a significant amount of babysitting, particularly with children with special needs, including those with Down syndrome, autism, and non-verbal communication styles. These experiences have taught me to be patient, empathetic, and attentive, and I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and joyful environment tailored to each child's unique needs. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. I absolutely love being active—whether it’s playing lacrosse, football, Gaelic football, swimming, or hiking. I’m always seeking out new experiences and adventures, and I thrive when I’m surrounded by nature and movement. Another one of my passions is cooking. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, trying out dishes from different cultures, and cooking nutritious meals for friends and family. I’d be delighted to share that joy in your home, whether it’s preparing meals for the kids or baking together as a fun afternoon activity. Overall, I’m a warm, dependable, and energetic person who genuinely enjoys caring for and connecting with children. I bring a strong work ethic, a sense of fun, and a commitment to creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to chat! Warm regards, Bríd Madden
