I’m a warm, caring and reliable early childhood professional with 20+ years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including extensive hands-on experience with babies, newborns and infants (feeding, settling, sleep routines and early development). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working With Children Check, and up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and SIDS & Safe Sleep training. I’m also Circle of Security–trained and place a strong focus on building secure, trusting relationships and emotional connection with the children in my care. I have a full driver’s licence, my own car, I’m a non-smoker, and a big animal lover, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m also happy to help out with light housework, washing and meal prep. Hi I’m Amelia. I’ve grown up with three brothers and a massive family full of cousins of all ages all the way down to 1-year-olds. I’m a very family orientated person and I’m naturally good when it comes to kids and looking after them. I have always had a passion for working with kids and helping them. I currently live by myself renting in Morisset Park and I enjoy a simple life prioritising friends and family alongside that I am completing a tape course for a diploma of business. I enjoy anything creative whether it is reading cooking or art and I enjoy the outdoors as well.
