Hi! My name is Jordy, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Wollongong. Im looking for roles in Brisbane for the 12 weeks I’ll be there (April-July). I’ve been working in childcare with children aged 4 months upwards for over 7 years now. I’ve been an at-home sitter, live-in nanny, a netball coach, a tutor and a childrens party host in my local area. I’ve studied Child Studies in school and numerous nannying and child development courses since then. I’m also experienced in household management, pet care, house sitting and cleaning! I am a mother of two boys (eldest is in university in Sydney and my youngest is diagnosed Autistic Level 2) whom I co-parent with their father. I have plenty of experience with children, my own and those of close friends and extended family (7 nephews and 2 nieces). I resigned from my employment of 12 years in September 2024 and travelled around Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. I am looking for alternate work to my usual corporate office occupation for the remainder of 2025 until I decide what I would like to do permanently in 2026.

I have a background as a Preschool and Elementary Teacher in the Philippines, working with children aged 3 to 13. I currently work in NSW as a support worker and private nanny, where I continue to support and care for children and families. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, including AED use for both adults and children, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for those in my care.
