Hi, I’m Mia! I’m 19 years old and a law student at ANU and I absolutely love playing with kids of all ages as I have two younger siblings. I’ve been coaching netball and swimming since I was 16, working with children as young as 2 and up to 17 year olds which I teach swimming to now, and have found it super fulfilling and fun. I have also done volunteer tutoring, and will be able to help the kids with their homework in the afternoons. I love doing sports - especially netball, and love to cook all foods especially Italian.

I have worked as a teaching assistant in Primary Schools in the UK over a period of 7 months. Working predominantly with SEN and ASD children, I've provided 1:1 study help for English and Maths, but also facilitated social integration projects with their SEN children and their peers. I have an up to Date Enhanced DBS. The DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) is a UK system for checking criminal records, and an Enhanced DBS must be possessed in order to work with children.

I do not have a car, but I do have a license, so I am happy to school drop off's and pick up's if they are in walking vicinity or if there is a car provided.
