Job details: Part-time

We are looking for an after school nanny for Monday to Thursday. I have a 12 year old son, a 10 year old daughter, and a Burmese cat (Coco). The children are both at school within walking distance, so you don’t need to pick them up, or drive, they will walk home by themselves. I need someone to be at home by 3.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 5pm on Wednesday and stay until 6.30pm. Every second Thursday they spend after school with their Dad, so some weeks it will be three days, and some weeks four days. That means 10.5 hours some weeks, and 7.5 hours others. There is also the option of casual babysitting from time to time if you're interested in more hours (or not, if you're not). You would be helping me by making sure the children do homework and music practice, by making their dinner, tidying the kitchen after you’ve made dinner (I will always leave it tidy before I go to work in the morning), getting the washing off the line, folding and ironing it, putting it away and ensuring they have their shower on time and get ready for bed. We have always had after school babysitters, nannies or au pairs, so we're very used to (and love) having people in the house.
