Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting
I'm an enthusiastic and bubbly 24 year old who has been working for a family for the past year, looking after two boys and 1 girl, aged 9 months, 3 and 4, respectively, providing full care 3 days a week. Prior to this I looked after 2 girls aged 3 and 5 providing mainly after school care (pick up, homework, dinner, bath, bedtime) and some occasional all day care during holidays. I am comfortable working with children of all ages, and I love to incorporate singing, dancing, and arts and crafts into things like learning and household chores. I enjoy taking kids on outings to places like the museum, the zoo, and playgrounds - not just staying inside all day! I'm also comfortable with any domestic duties.
Having a Greek background means family is a big part of my life and I have had the role of child minder since the age of 10. In 2016, I spent 2 years in London with the one family (Emily, 1 and a half and Harry who was 3). I was a live-in nanny which meant I did house cleaning, potty training, homework and teaching phonics, reading, writing and numbers. I have most recently been looking after an 11 month old and a 7 year old and prior to that was a house cleaner, nanny, and home schooler to a 6 year old and a 10 year old. I love kids and their excitement and curiosity to life and hope to continue a career merging my passion for Permaculture and child care.

Hello! I am Nidhi. :) I am in my last year of uni at the University of Melbourne, studying Psychology. i have 2 younger siblings of my own whom I have babysat for a long, long time. I have also volunteered at a daycare that involved taking care of tots of all ages. I am responsible and super flexible with late nights and extended hours. My hobbies include reading, doing uni assignments, going on extra long walks and tinkering about on my piano/keyboard. I am also very appreciative of the trust it takes to leave your child in someone's care and I promise that I will honour that trust always.
Hi Parents! I am a 29 year old mature and educated Australian citizen. Having chosen a carer change and returning to study at RMIT, I am seeking to combine my experience and love of caring for kids with a part time child care position. Located in Fitzroy North, I am looking for work in the surrounding suburbs. I have a current VIC drivers license and clean driving record. Although I do not have a car at the moment (preferring to cycle or use PT), I am looking to get my own car in the next few months. I've been with a family for over two years, working full time and now on a casual basis after returning to study. I work at a Creche at the Melbourne Convention Centre when various expo's are held in Melbourne. In addition, I have years of experience in my personal life caring for my own 7 nieces and nephews for longer periods at a time from the ages 1-7. As a carer I believe in positive parenting and positive reinforcement, role modelling the behavior I think is important in a child's development such as kind behavior, making healthy choices and good manners. I believe the role of the carer is to be an extension of the parent, being able to pick up the job where parent left off. But above all, making your child feel comfortable and safe at all times is my top priority. I like to do fun and interesting activities with children, rather than being at home all day in front of screens. Going to the park, going on a picnic, reading books at the library, arts and craft, playing music. I am also happy to help around the house with general cleaning, washing and preparing kids meals. I have a valid WWCC, children's first aid certificate, and police check. My rate is $28-30 depending on how many children.
Hello! I'm a very responsible, reliable but also fun and relaxed person. I love kids (and may even still be one at heart!) I've worked with children of all ages (including infants) for a number of years, as a nursing assistant and as a residential support worker. I'm also studying psychology, so I'm quite a caring and compassionate person by nature. Flexible with hours, days and rate. I look forward to hearing from you :)
Hello! I am 22 years old and currently studying Law at the University of Melbourne. I have been babysitting for over 8 years for families with children of all ages - from newborn to 15 years old. I have also been looking after my younger sister who is severely disabled - both mentally and physically - for most of her life. I have volunteered for several years at her school, Wairoa in Sydney, which has given me extensive experience caring for children with a variety of disabilities. I have my license and am comfortable doing school drop-offs etc. and I have my own car. I can cook meals and am very happy to do cleaning and general housekeeping. I am friendly and reliable, and I absolutely adore children.
Cheerful, affectionate and relaxed early childhood educator/nanny/sitter with 14+ years experience. I have a special interest in infant and toddler development, as well as heaps of experience caring for kids from 2 months to 18 years (including premmies). Sleep, settling, nappies, bottles, baths, sibling disputes, homework assistance, simple meals, disability, autism, playtime, illness, learning English... I've seen it all! I have been the "first ever carer" for many, many children (and their families!) over the years. I currently work on Mondays in long day care, in a beautiful community co-op setting. Strong relationships are at the heart of my practice, as is giving children access to their community. I love to read, I LOVE to sing, I'm learning to garden and I'm enjoying getting to know Edinburgh Gardens, the Merri Creek and all the beautiful Yarra libraries. I'm currently studying for a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and have a BSc (Zoology) and Cert 3 in Education Support. I speak Italian (shyly!) and am expanding my knowledge of Auslan (completed Level 1) and Key Word Signing.
Hi Parents! I'm looking for regular + casual babysitting work. I’m currently at uni. I have over five years of previous experience babysitting. I have my own car and driver's license so can do pickups! I'm also happy to help out for casual night time babysitting on an ad hoc basis.

Hi everyone. I'm a experienced, reliable career nanny looking for full time or part time work starting from late May/early June 2021. I have been a nanny for 5 lovely families whilst I've lived in Melbourne, most recently working with a family of 4 children. Ive worked with kids aged 5 months to 12 years old. I'm from Sydney but moved to Melbourne in June 2012. In Sydney I was working as a Teachers Aide at a primary school and also at a Before and After School Care Centre. In my early 20's I did a lot of babysitting. I've completed a Certificate 3 in Youth Work. I've had all my checks done and have a current First Aid certificate. I have great references from my previous nanny families. I'm fun and energetic. I love doing outdoor activities with children and also helping them with numeracy and literacy. I look forward to meeting you and your children.
My name is Sophie, I am 20 years old. I am really fond of dancing, baking, singing, listening and all other fun activities. Your child or your children mean everything to me, as soon as I am with your child/s all else is put aside and my attention is set on them and I assure you on that. My second priority after their safety is that they're comfortable and entertained. In March of 2020 I set off to the other side of the world to start my nannying experience where I took care of children ranging from 3-15 for six months, it was a challenge I found so rewarding as I also was obliged to teach the children English. I can also help assist with housework and cooking or whatever jobs needing to be accomplished. I can assure you that I am not just a regular babysitter but I am somebody that you will hopefully grow very close with. Bonds with parents and children are very important to me. I look forward to hearing from you. I have also cared for a 2 year old and occasionally a new born for the same family for 11 months. I work from 3-6:30pm everyday babysitting children so can only help from early morning until 2:30pm at latest and any evenings from 7pm. I hope to hear from you as I am ready to help out straight away.
I am a qualified kindergarten teacher with 10+ years experience working with children aged between 1 and 13 years old, and I have specialist training in working with infants and toddlers (RIE / Pikler - working in a similar way to Janet Lansbury, gently allowing children to lead their own play and explorations). I have Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification, as well as a current Working With Children Check and VIT registration. Minimum 4 hour bookings considered.
Hi there, my name is Sophie. I am about to begin my Masters of Arts Management and looking for flexible hours babysitting and nannying with cash payments. A few of my favourite things are being outside, going for walks, reading, listening to podcasts and cooking. I am responsible, caring and creative.
I have a lot of experience in caring for children aged 4 months - 8 years of age. I love doing creative activities with kids, like drawing, painting and collaging. I am also a musician, so that's another fun activity for kids to take part in!
I can cook for many dietaries (vegan, dairy free, egg free, gluten free, fodmap friendly, sugar free), however I am a life-long vegetarian so I'm not up to scratch cooking any meat products. I am very intent on keeping spaces harmonious and tidy. I have a full drivers license and my own car. I also love animals, so if you have a pet, even better!
I do not have a working with children check, however I am very happy to obtain one. Open to a fair discussion about payment rates.
