Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! I am a Japanese Brazilian preparing to do a Master's in Applied Linguistics at Melbourne Uni, currently working as a part-time nanny and language tutor in North Melbourne. I am applying for a nanny position since I have experience in providing care for children of 1 to 12 years old age range.  Here in Melbourne, I assisted a lovely family with 3 children (ages from 1 to 8) for 2 years 4 days per week and occasional weekends, and babysat for the family's friends over the weekends too, so I can provide great references. My duties included preparing breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and dinner, dressing them, changing nappies, bathing, taking them to the park or library, reading books, preparing craft activities, supervising them during playtime, organising toys, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and an occasional childcare/school pick up or drop off by foot.  I have been working as a language tutor for more than 10 years, teaching mainly Japanese, but also Portuguese and English to people from different countries. Being an enthusiast of languages, I have also studied French for 1 year to manage a trip to France, and Italian to live in Rome for almost a year. I studied Arts at university as well, so I enjoy some crafting too.  As a South American, I am very attached to my family, so I consider that home should be a place where we feel loved, safe, and supported to become confident and independent. Also, as a Japanese descendant, I believe in the sense of community and being socially responsible to the people around us and the environment. I take great pleasure in explaining things to kids and have a patient personality. Looking forward to meeting you :)
