Hello! My name is Bobby and I am an artist and horticulturalist based in Kingsbury. I am currently looking for additional work babysitting during the week, while also working as a teacher’s aide at both a local primary school and high school. I also attend art and craft markets some weekends with my own small creative business! I have been babysitting regularly for well over a decade now, with experience caring for babies and children of all ages. I am a very attentive babysitter, with their well-being and safety being my first priority. I am vigilant and skilled when responding to potential risks/safety concerns. An important part of babysitting for me is spending quality time and facilitating creative and educational activities. I’m a bubbly, responsible, caring, and loving university student majoring in archaeology and zoology with the long-term goal of becoming a history/science secondary teacher. I have this year done regular work for a family with 2 and 4 year old brothers doing daycare pick up (15 min walk one way), dinner, bath and bedtime, a 1 year old and 3.5 year old brother and sister, and a 1.5 year old with both parents working from home plus over the past few months I’ve done short stints with an 11 month old girl, 1 year old girl, 23 month old boy, 5.5 month old girl and have recently begun regular casual work with an 8 month old and 4.5 year old sisters (now 1 year old), a 4 month old boy and 8.5 month old boy-girl twins (nearly 1 years old) as well as a 16 month old girl. While I don’t have a driver's license I’ve experience with taking kids on public transport and am very confident myself. I have completed first aid training for the childcare and education setting, am confident in dealing with medical issues, and am happy to do pick up/drop off for school if within walking distance/public transport. Household chores such as laundry, tidying, and errands are also favorites.
