Our beautiful nanny is sadly returning home to Ireland in July and we are seeking someone to fill her shoes and support our family commencing June 2024 for a minimum of 6 months (long term into 2025 is preferable).
About us:
We are a friendly family of 4 located in St Kilda including my husband Sam, an energetic 2.5 year old daughter (Poppy) & cheeky 6 month old son (Xander) as well as a very friendly 4 year old Border Collie (Wally).
My husband works full time in the city and I am returning to work part time in June / July after maternity leave, I will work a combination of days from home and from the office.
The role:
- I am returning to work post maternity leave and will be working 3 days to start with and then moving to 4 days in a couple of months.
- We are looking for someone to care for both Poppy and Xander 3 (and then 4) days a week (days TBC) while my husband and I work from roughly 8am - 5pm
- We require some light housework including: folding washing, keeping the kitchen clean, tidying the house etc and some light cooking
- Your day will include taking the kids to activities, local parks, preparing and feeding them meals, reading books etc
We are looking for someone:
- with childcare experience including newborns and toddlers
- who loves children, is calm, caring, kind & responsible
- someone who is confident and comfortable to look after 2 children at once
- who is professional, reliable and hardworking
Pay is negotiable depending on experience and no car is required however we do have a permit for parking in our street if required.
Hi, I’m looking for help to watch my 18 month old daughter during business hours for four days at the end of July because my usual nanny will be on a holiday.
Ideally this person would have experience with children around this age range.
While you’re taking care of my daughter activities to expect are: encourage play time, read to her, go to the park, prepare snacks (lunch is always organized), and her laundry.

Hi! We are a busy family with 3 kids (boy 11, girl 9 and boy 7) and a 7 month old Labrador puppy needing help after school. We are looking for a babysitter to help us look after our two kids (8YO girl and 5YO boy).
We are looking for someone fun and engaging, who will play with the kids, and who can help our lives to run smoothly.

There would be an ogoing shift on Mondays (3-5pm) with the addition of
Tuesday pick up (3-5pm) from May 7 to June 25
Thursday pick up (3-5pm) from May 2 to May 23
The shift is from 3-5pm to include some travel time and time at home with the kids.

I am looking for a mature age person preferably 50 years plus to help with my 2 girls. I Need help to pick up my 12 year old early from school and take to her to her gymnastics.
