Nanny / Housekeeper Usually on Mondays and Tuesdays, to pick up by twin 7 year old's from school, give them some afternoon tea, help with the homework and anything else. We are looking for an carer who is loving, responsible, energetic, fun and positive who will become part of the family. Primarily this will be to support our 5 year old daughter with transport to and from therapy and care and support in the house. Tara is a social butterfly, who loves walks, jumps on the trampoline and anything to do with water. Her disability does mean she has only just started to walk and needs support with her day to day activities including bathing and feeding. Would ideally suit someone who has had previous experience working in disability care or is training in Allied health. We also have 2 other girls (Taras twin and her elder sister Jaz 11) and a brand new puppy. General support in the house with some assistance with home learning on occasion, and supervision out to the park etc. would also be needed. Once school is back, picks up from school would also be required. At the moment my husband and I work from home, and have flexibility with our work timings. Additional activities would include keeping the house in order, kids meal prep, putting the laundry out and bringing it in and just some light help with the general running of the household. As we are in a LGA of concern, COVID vaccination and permits will be required. Full drivers license with good driving record is a must, and our car is available for use. We are excited to welcome a new member to join our family and ideally would look to maintain hours of 9-5 Mon to Thurs until the end of the year.

Emily 7y old, has been looked after by a wonderful nanny for the last 5 years - who now is moving mid-end September. We are now looking for an experienced and entertaining nanny, ideally certified or with good references, to pick her up from Erskineville school and look after me on a few week days, 3-6pm. Monday to Wednesday ideally. She is in Year 2. She can speak English and French, happy to practise any language skills, do craft, play in parks, go to the local Library to get books. No cleaning or housekeeping (we take care of it all) - only caring for Emily, be her friend, be supportive and playful, and a bit of homework/maths, or reading, maybe shower/shampoo once a week would be great... We are also a very flexible family. We have also a tutor helping to cover Thursdays for maths. She is active, loves good songs, dancing, swimming (we can adjust the day and time for swim lesson - before LD her spot was Tuesday 4pm - but she will need a ride to get to the center lesson in Redfern NCIE - and a shower - at home simple dinner or snacks. If you live in the Erskineville/Alexandria area, that makes things easier but we have a visitor car park. You will enjoy her company, everyone says she is adorable and very easy, a bit shy to start. So they are well looked after, but I am looking for some help on three or four evenings a week for a couple of hours (plus occasional babysitting once they are in bed), getting up to the children if they wake at night (which is unusual) and for a few hours on each weekend day. We would like you to help prepare healthy meals (that the kids will eat!), superficial tidying and occasional shopping and errands. You would be in a lovely large terrace house in Rushcutters Bay, a two minute from the park and harbour. You would have your own level and good privacy. We would provide full board and $250 a week. We have advertised the job for 6 months, but we are flexible, depending on how the arrangement works out.
