Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile 😊
My name is Vera, but you can call me V! My friends would describe me as warm, reliable, and someone who brings a calm and positive energy wherever I go
I was raised in a very family-oriented environment where caring for younger relatives like my cousins, nieces, and nephews, was a shared responsibility. It really shaped my belief that “it takes a village to raise a child” 🫶
Over the years, I’ve also volunteered in orphanages and community programs, helping organise activities, preparing meals, and supporting children in their day-to-day routines. I’ve had the opportunity to teach children aged 6–15 basic English and maths, which helped me build patience, creativity, and confidence in working with different personalities and needs 📚
More recently, I’ve worked as a nanny/babysitter for multiple families, caring for children from as young as 3 weeks old up to 9 years old. I’ve managed routines such as feeding, naps, playtime, and outings to parks and activities, always prioritising safety while making sure the kids feel happy, engaged, and supported 🌼
Alongside this, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing and have experience working in healthcare settings, including aged care, mental health, and emergency care. This has strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, be attentive to safety, and provide compassionate care, skills I naturally bring into my babysitting as well. I have goals of being a pediatric nurse, and my upcoming clinical experience will be in Westmead Children's Hospital. 🩺
I genuinely love working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can grow and feel comfortable. I’m adaptable, responsible, and always happy to help out however I can, whether that’s with routines, play, or just being an extra set of hands for busy parents 😊
Thank you again for reading, and I’d love the opportunity to support your family 💛
