We are a warm, busy family on the Upper North Shore looking for an experienced, full-time House Manager / Nanny to become a trusted, long-term part of our household.
The role combines care of two school-aged children with the day-to-day management of a busy family home. Hours are variable — the role involves an early start and can run through to a later finish depending on the day, so full Monday–Friday availability with no recurring commitments is essential.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:
• School drop-off and pick-up, activity transport
• Homework and music practice supervision (light support only)
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Tidying and maintaining children's areas and common areas
• Children's laundry
• Vendor coordination and household logistics
• Very light care of our litter-trained house rabbit
• Extended housekeeping hours available for the right candidate
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• Proven experience with school-aged children (experience with teenagers a bonus)
• Excellent common sense and calm under pressure — including in a medical situation
• A genuine problem-solver who knows when to act and when to communicate
• Highly organised, reliable, and easy-going by nature
• Honest, respectful, and fully committed to a long-term position
• Current First Aid (mandatory), WWCC and Police Check
• Full driver's licence, clean record
