We are looking for a long term nanny (at least a year, although would consider 6 months if you had a lot of flexibility) for a 3 and 5 year old. They will both attend kinder and school next year 8:30-3:15 so the job involves before and after school care on different days. This would be three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon on different days: Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon. Date nights and weekend shifts always available although we wouldn’t expect it.
Looking for someone who is kind and energetic, and who has initiative. Experience with, and a genuine love of, children is essential. We’re looking for someone who is honest, trustworthy and reliable, and who will engage with our children. We approach this like a team and have had excellent relationships with our last two Nannies.
Both children are active and happy little people who love socialising. It's important that you're comfortable driving (you'll drive our car) as there is drop off and pick up and a few activities (eg gymnastics, Prahran market, etc). Some are within walking distance but otherwise you'll likely use the car at least once a day (to do kinder pick up).
The role involves some house keeping before or after drop off (clothes washing and folding, unloading groceries) and food preparation.
We have a cleaner so the role doesn't require any deep cleaning - just keeping the house tidy and cleaning up as you go.
