Our beloved nanny of 2 years is on the move and we’re after someone new to join our family! Looking for someone reliable & keen to foster a long term relationship with us.

We’re looking for someone with experience with children and all the usual checks (WWCC, police check, references). A current drivers licence and car are non-negotiable.

Us:

🌀Easy-going family of 4 ( Mama, Papa, 2 boys aged 3 & 5yrs) + a big friendly doggo

🌀The boys are very curious, very cheeky and very boisterous

🌀We are a low tech/screen-free family

The details:

📍Location Prospect

📍Wednesdays from 3.30pm to 6pm

📍Casual evening babysitting 1-2 x a month

📍Potentially Fridays 8.30am to 1pm or every other Friday 8.30am to 1pm (this depends on your flexibility - Fridays are optional if you want more hours)

The role:

👉🏼 Wednesdays would involve daycare/crèche pick up in Beulah Park to home, playtime, preparing/heating up and serving dinner, general end of day reset (lunchboxes washed, bags away, clothes in the laundry, toys tidied up etc.). Essentially keeping things running smoothly so they are fed and ready to be bathed by 6pm.

👉🏼 Fridays would be largely play-based at home, involving continuous active engagement through child-led play, arts, crafts, reading etc. We have 2 playgrounds within short walking distance to visit too. Providing a simple morning tea and lunch (minimal prep/cooking involved), a quick tidy up of the dishes & toys, helping the boys settle down for their nap around 12.45pm.

​Requirements:

✅ Current WWCC, police check, references

✅ Experience looking after at least 2 children at a time

✅ Long-term commitment (6+ months), we would love consistency for our family

✅ You will need to have your own drivers licence and a clean driving record

✅ Must have your own smoke-free car but we can provide car seats

Our ideal nanny:

⚡️fun & creative, but firm! The kids are energetic and very engaging, so we do need someone who can be calm, confident and organised

⚡️comfortable with outdoor activities, nature play, pram walks, bike rides, puzzles, lego, crafts & reading

⚡️crunchy/low tox/plant based 🌿⚡️Montessori or Steiner-inclined would be amazing

⚡️must be ok with dogs 🐾

$30-40 per hour, to be negotiated depending on experience/skills.
