Hello! We’re a relaxed, active family of three (soon to be four!) living in Beaumaris, and we’re looking for some regular help as we welcome our second baby boy in June.
Our eldest, George, is a bright, energetic 3.5-year-old who loves riding his bike, hide-and-seek, exploring parks and beaches, reading books and chatting about everything! We're seeking someone warm, fun, and energetic who can easily connect with George, keep up with his energy, and fully engage with him through play, conversation, and activities. Ideally, you would take the initiative to create your own games and fun with George - we welcome you bringing your own ideas for the day.
The Role:
Take George out for 3–4 hours a couple of times a week to local parks, train rides, beaches, or the Beaumaris Playhouse (we're members).
Help keep George active, engaged, and happy while giving us time to focus on the newborn.
Occasional short periods of care for the baby (e.g. while we pop to the gym or rest) – but this is not the main focus initially.
Light household duties: preparing healthy and simple meals/snacks, tidying up, unpacking the dishwasher, hanging laundry, and helping us keep the home organised (we already have a cleaner for the deep cleaning).
Hours:
Flexible days and times, ideally Thursday to Sunday during the day.
George attends kindergarten Monday to Wednesday.
About You:
Warm, energetic, proactive, and able to think one step ahead.
A driver's licence and safe car are ideal, but not essential — everything George needs is within 2km.
Confident in managing a lively and talkative 3 year old. We will have George with us when we meet you so you will have an opportunity to connect with him.
Comfortable helping around the house with light tasks.
Reliable, friendly, active and easy-going.
