Part-Time Nanny / Babysitter & Household Assistant (Flexible Hours)

My husband Mark and I are looking for a warm, reliable, and flexible babysitter/nanny to support our busy household in Brighton.

We have three children — Jack (4), Genevieve (7), and Olivia (10) — as well as a friendly new puppy, Coco 🐶.

I am home full-time, so this role is very much a “helping hand” position rather than sole care.

What we’re looking for:

Someone who is:

• Kind, energetic, and great with young children

• Flexible with changing weekly schedules

• Comfortable around dogs

• Happy to help with light household tasks

Typical responsibilities:

• Occasional care for Jack on Mondays and Wednesdays (when he is home from kindergarten)

• Assisting with school pickups/drop-offs and after-school sports

• Occasional evening babysitting (weekdays and weekends)

• Some daytime weekend help when needed

• Light cleaning after meals and general tidying

• Assisting with household organisation and simple personal tasks (e.g. sending mail, keeping things running smoothly)

Hours:

• Flexible and varied week-to-week

• A mix of daytime, after school, and occasional evenings/weekends

Ideal candidate:

• Has prior childcare experience

• Holds a driver’s licence (preferred for school/sport drop-offs)

• Is organized, proactive, and happy to pitch in where needed
