Part-Time Family Assistant / Nanny

We are a warm and active family seeking a reliable, caring, and proactive Family Assistant to help support our household and three young children.

We have three children: two girls aged 5 and 2.5 years, and an 8-month-old baby boy. While we are very hands-on parents, we are looking for an extra set of capable hands to help keep our household running smoothly during the busiest parts of the week.

This is not a traditional nanny role where you will be solely responsible for three children while both parents work. Instead, we are looking for someone who can work alongside our family, providing childcare support, practical household assistance, and helping bring calm and structure to a busy home.

The role is varied and flexible and may include:

- Assisting with school pick-ups and drop-offs

- Caring for one or two children while a parent attends to other responsibilities

- Supporting with children's activities and playtime

- Assisting with bath and bedtime routines

- Reading with children and helping with school readers

- Light household duties including laundry, tidying, meal preparation, and general household organisation

- Supporting transportation to and from extracurricular activities when required

Hours:

Our priority hours are:

Monday: 2:30pm – 7:00/8:00pm

Tuesday: 2:30pm – 7:00/8:00pm

Wednesday: 2:30pm – 7:00/8:00pm

There may be opportunities for additional hours from time to time.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience working with young children

- Is warm, patient, and energetic

- Enjoys being part of a family environment

- Is organised and proactive

- Is comfortable helping with both childcare and household support

- Holds a current driver's licence

- Has relevant references and Working With Children checks and First Aid (or is willing to obtain them)
