Ivanhoe Nanny - two days

Part-Time Nanny Position – Ivanhoe

We are looking for a warm, reliable nanny to join our family two days per week. We are hoping to find someone who would enjoy becoming part of our family for at least the next 12 month.

Days & Hours

2 days, likely Tuesday and Wednesday but we have some flexibility for the right candidate.

Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm

About the role

We have three children aged 6, 4 and 2. During school terms you will mostly be caring for 2 children, with all three together during school holidays and occasionally after school.

We’re looking for someone who is calm, proactive and enjoys spending time with children both at home and out exploring.

Responsibilities include

-Helping with the morning routine (breakfast, getting ready for school/kinder)

-Planning engaging activities and play during the day

-Taking the kids to the park, playgrounds and local outings

-Providing warm, responsive care and meeting the children where they are at

-Maintaining a gentle and respectful approach to care

-Tidying up after the children and keeping their spaces organised

-Occasional school/kinder pickup

Essential requirements

-ABN and ability to provide invoices

-Working With Children Check (WWCC)

-First Aid certification

-Driver’s licence

-Experience with neurodivergent children (ADHD) and a neuroaffirming approach to care
