Part-Time Nanny Position – Ivanhoe
We are looking for a warm, reliable nanny to join our family three days per week. Our much-loved nanny is moving on after more than two years with us, so we are hoping to find someone who would enjoy becoming part of our family routine for at least the next 12 months.
Days & Hours
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
7:30am – 4:00pm
Pay
$40 per hour (ABN / invoice arrangement)
About the role
We have three children aged 6, 4 and almost 2. During school terms you will mostly be caring for the two children, with all three together during school holidays and occasionally after school.
We’re looking for someone who is calm, proactive and enjoys spending time with children both at home and out exploring.
Responsibilities include
-Helping with the morning routine (breakfast, getting ready for school/kinder)
-Planning engaging activities and play during the day
-Taking the kids to the park, playgrounds and local outings
-Providing warm, responsive care and meeting the children where they are at
-Maintaining a gentle and respectful approach to care
-Tidying up after the children and keeping their spaces organised
-Occasional school/kinder pickup
Essential requirements
-Working With Children Check (WWCC)
-First Aid certification
-Driver’s licence
-ABN and ability to provide invoices
-Experience with neurodivergent children and a neuroaffirming approach to care
